Dear Zappos, I ordered a pair of hiking boots for my son on Tuesday morning, hoping they would arrive by Friday for a weekend Boy Scout camping trip. The boots arrived Thursday afternoon at 4:00p.m., but they were too small. Even though it was past the 1:00 p.m. PST shipping cutoff, I called the 800 number to see if I could have a larger size shipped overnight to arrive by Friday afternoon. They couldn't promise it, but we gave it a shot anyway and hoped for the best. They upgraded my order to a VIP status in hopes I'd get the free overnight shipping. The new boots arrived today, Friday, at 4:00 p.m. They fit perfectly and my camper is extremely happy with his new boots. Thank you Zappos for your wonderful customer service and for saving the day!
