- The California King comforter is oversized to fit today's high profile mattresses, and overstuffed to prevent it from developing sagging corners.
- A 3/8 inch multicolored twist cord trims both the comforter and the pillow shams for a beautiful finish.
- The bedskirt features an elongated diamond design that is echoed throughout the face of the comforter.
- Split corners allow for use with footboards, while a cotton/polyester blend platform adds durability.
- The pillow shams feature the same rich patchwork seen throughout this ensemble, and mirror the beauty of the comforter.
- The shams reverse to a coordinating solid taupe, and have a french back opening for easy pillow insertion.
- A three-inch padded flange, trimmed with twist cord, finishes off the pillow shams.

This set is beautiful! And the comforter is very plush and soft. I bought window coverings as well and the set really made it seem as if we'd bought a whole new bedroom! We kept our last Croscill set for 15 years, and I expect this one will be well worth the money as well.

The history of Croscill is intertwined with the history of the Kahn family, who, in the years before World War II, ran a small curtain manufacturing shop in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY.
In 1946 when George Kahn started the Croscill Curtain Company, he began the legacy of redefining home fashion tradition with the introduction of the Croscilla window.
By the late 1960s, Croscill expanded its touch to the bedroom. Croscill's twist on the old convention turned the comforter from a necessary but lackluster item to a decorative centerpiece.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Croscill was the first to recognize the synergistic effect of coordinated home fashion items. By 1988, the company offered coordinated pillows, table rounds, lamps, lampshades, wallpaper and wall borders. Croscill continued to advance the concept of "total room coordination" by launching a line of bathroom accessories in 1993.
In 2009, the Kahn family ended their 62 years of involvement when they sold the company to funds managed by the private equity firm Patriarch Partners.
Under the leadership of President and CEO Marc Navarre, Croscill continues the legacy of delivering on its reputation for inspired design and innovative home fashion. It continues to be bold, think broadly, redefine tradition, and always remembers that "It's in the details."
