Very comfortable shoe, very good for walking in winter, keeps your feet warm. My problem is that they are so snug with a pair of socks that the seam ended up ripping when I bent my foot. I figured the material would stretch and wear a little over the first week, but the seams along the sides ripped after just one week. I'll try the ones without padding. Who doesn't wear socks with shoes anyways?

Pretty sweet shoe, basically a winter version of the regular Santa Cruz; I have been wearing everyday for last 3 weeks going into the Chicago winter. Highly recommended.

I tried 11 pairs of slippers (everything that came in my size from Zappos), and this was the winner. It isn't as cushy comfortable as some with thicker lining, and the shoe is a little boxy and coarse in person. But it has a quiet footstep, feels soft and warm with or without socks, provides secure footing even on waxed floors, slips on and off easily, and holds the foot firmly but not too tightly. The heel doesn't slide off your foot like many slippers do -- you can run in these (which is important if you have a toddler!).

Awesome shoe. Comfortable for house and even going out! Great buy. Bought the other shoes in summer without the lining and love them as well so thought I would give these a try for the winter and I am pleased. Would highly recommend! True to size.
