Crave by Carli Rae Vergamini got its start in 2010 when a recent fashion grad was looking for experience in the "real world." After studying Apparel Design at the University of Wisconsin-Stout & London College of Fashion, Crave started out as a way for Carli to keep a foot in the fashion industry, while looking for a full time position with an established apparel corporation.
After a year of seeing success selling the brand in local boutiques and online, working in a cubicle or designing under someone else's name was no longer an option.
Using materials from all walks of life helps keep the mantra true- that a personality so unique deserves a handbag to match. Resources such as up-cycled leather, vintage findings & notions, as well as, fabric fresh from the bolt, along with its handmade process, help assure that no two bags are exactly alike.
