Great duty boot! I'm a police officer in a large urban city and got these a couple of days ago. Easily the most comfortable boot I've worn in my 19 years on the job! They feel like sneakers. I've worn them for five straight hours standing and walking on concrete while working a major league baseball game and no foot pain or soreness at all. Buy these now, you won't regret it.

A real boot for my small feet - I'm a 5 ft 2 28 year old with size 5 1/2 feet. I do a lot of walking and need real boot, not some tarted-up kiddy boot. Zappos has been a godsend- they have been my most reliable source for a real boots and shoes in my size. This boot is no exception. It is true to size, well-constructed, and has a no-nonsense appearance. It's also quite comfortable.

Brands I'd also recommend: For small feet, also look at the Ecco boots- but be prepared for the cost.

NOT BAD!! I ordered an EE since I have a wide foot. Not needed. Next time I buy a pair of these a normal size will do fine. EE-Shoe has plenty of room with a little extra. I did add an insole for extra comfort which helped with the extra room.

Best Work Shoe I've Owned!!!! I'm on my feet all day and also have to have safety toes in whatever shoes I wear. My feet had blisters and calluses all over them from all previous shoes I've owned. I got to the point where I couldn't even walk at home barefoot. Now that I have these I no longer have foot problems. I no longer have to walk in pain anymore and all the blisters and calluses are gone. I'll definitely stick to this brand of shoe in the future.

Great walking beat shoe! I've been in police work for thirty years and these are the most comfortable boots I've used in a long time. I am on my feet for hours at a time & it's easy to get aching feet, legs & back, when my shoes are not comfortable. These shoes have comfort & support. A great value.

First of all I'm not an expert on shoes. Basically, I normally buy T...Land when it comes to hiking shoes or boots. But when a pair I liked didn't fit well I thought I'd try these. This hiker has a nice design and looks good. The most unbelievable thing for me was how good they felt compared to the other brand I buy. These hikers have a noticeable shock absorbency in the heel of the shoe. The sole (bottom?) has an excellent gripping design. Overall, I would highly recommend these Converse Sport Hikers.

These shoes are wonderful. I am used to wearing the steel toe so these composite toes make a world of difference. They are extremely comfortable; I haven't had them too long so I hope that they hold up. At this point I would definitely get another pair.

The Hikers I bought from Zappos were recommended and I'd looked over a pair, so I had no questions about whether they were the right ones. The real deal though was Zappos. First of all they were cheaper than my friend paid and the shipping was free. This was enough to sell me. The clincher, and what will bring me back to Zappos, is the customer service. I expected, since the shipping was free, that it would take a while to receive my hikers, but no, I had them in 3 days. Free shipping, cheaper price and great customer service. This is really a nice shoe. It is comfortable and seems to be well made. I was doubtful at first about buying these shoes, but was surprised when I put them on just how comfortable they really are on my feet. I primarily got them for hiking, but I really don’t think they are made for that purpose. Maybe on some light trails, but I can’t see using these for hiking on hilly areas with a rough terrain nor through the woods where you get into some rocky areas or needing to get across creeks or muddy areas. I just don’t see they would provide the traction that is needed for that type of terrain. The leather is soft and I ordered the brown pair which is exactly like the leather you find on footballs. My wife said they look like shoes made out of footballs, and maybe they are, who knows? Anyway, I will send these back and will get a black pair for work since I have to wear an all black shoe for work.

Good combo work/hiking boot or trail work boot. Mid-hi height rubs my ankle a little funny without much extra support vs low cut (due to lacing pattern). Nice roomy toe box, so may be a touch wider than average. I measure at 11, a 10.5 fit best. The insole is the typical worthless throw-away. Good value and construction compared to some others in this class.

So far these boots have been very good. I easily have over 100 miles on them and they have held up as advertised. As an exploration geologist I depend on quality footwear. I wish they'd go back to just plain old lacing rings, but other than that - no complaints.

These shoes are terrible. After four months of only wearing on weekends in less than strenuous activities the sole is already separating and they never broke in properly resulting in a constant pinching in the tongue area

These boots are very comfortable. Was a bit leery of the composite toe at first but it was never a problem. I am a UPS driver, so I walk a lot every day. Comfort means a lot. I have gone through a lot of boots over the years and these would have been my favorite but after 3 months the soles were literally slick. All tread gone. All of it. These boots wore out quicker than any other pair I have owned.

So awesome, I ordered the same set from the year before. Last year, I must've returned this shoe 4-5 times before I received the proper size, as I usually wear sizes 9½ to 10½ (depending on make/style of shoe). I actually had to order size 8!

These shoes were extremely comfortable right out of the box. I work a 12 hour shift and I am on my feet quite a bit, the comfort factor was a major plus. Not only do they feel great I think they are stylish as well.
