Awesome shoe! So comfortable. Barely any time to break it in. Extremely light. Nice looking, too!! If you like skate shoes and you need steel toe shoes, get this one.

My son was having trouble with a steel toe boot he was wearing making his feet bleed. So I found these steel toed Converse and had them sent to him. He got them the next day and his loves them, no more bleeding feet! This is not the first pair of shoes I have ordered from Zappos...always lightning fast shipping and great quality of shoes!

I bought these for the composite toe because I work on a cold loading dock and am very active. The first week the sole started to come off the shoe. After three weeks, I had to retire them because the sole split. These are not made for walking in, they just fell apart.

Great shoes. Very sturdy and good looking. I really like them. Be warned, though, they're big shoes! With the reinforced toe cap and all that, they're pretty bulky. Also, the 10.5s that I ordered fit like 11.5s. Possibly a bit more. I couldn't even touch the front of the shoe when shoving forward quite hard. So I returned them for a smaller size. (My true shoe size is 10.5 and has been for 25 years.)

I love these shoes, first thing I noticed at work was the non slip on the oily floors, and even when walking across a work area while someone was mopping the friction remained. They are not too bad for comfort, but I do stand in them for 12 hours a day.

I work as an automotive technician on my feet about 9 hours a day. I liked the low cut Converse work shoe (wore them 6-8 months at a time before replacing), but they were out at the time so I bought these. Huge mistake. The soles on these shoes separated from the shoe after only 1 month of wearing them. I had to use shoe goo to keep the soles on and they still kept coming apart. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these shoes.

Fantastic shoe. I work in a machine shop for ten hours a day. I have purchased many different brands of steel toe shoes and boots and these are by far the most comfortable pair of work shoes I have ever owned. As another review points out they are sized bigger than normal. I have been a size 12 since the age of 15 and a pair of these shoes in 12 felt 3 sizes to big. I would recommend ordering 2 sizes below your actual size.
