Finally, some Chucks that are comfortable! They still retain the look of the original Chucks, but they have some padding and an actual arch support. I had to buy half a size larger than I do in the old school Chucks, but overall I love them.

Ordered all black shoes for school. The description said leather uppers, but they're canvas. Sadly, they have to be returned because school requires leather shoes.

My kid loved them. I think they run about 1 size too big. I ordered them in sizes Youth 6-4.5 so my kid can try them all on and she ended up having to go with the 4.5. She's usually a Youth 5.5, so they ran large.

These have elastic on the tongue they do not need to be tied and they slip on easily. They are much more substantial than the regular Chuck Taylor shoes. They are great quality!

These shoes aren't meant to be tied. The tongue is connected to the shoe with thick black elastic so the shoe can slip on. Additionally, the tongue is very padded (unlike the basic Chuck Taylor model). I think this gives the shoe a more street or skater look. Great update of a classic! p.s. The shoes are canvas (not suede or leather like the description says).

I love my Converse. It was a little tricky getting the right size. Converse run a little long. But, it was worth a little wait. I wear them all the time.
