These shoes are adorable! My son gets lots of compliments and they stay securely on his feet. I love converse. They are my go to shoes for a toddler boy! They are stylish and hip. They usually run big so he has room to grow.

I love that these shoes are slip on (elasticized padded tongue) but still look like laced shoes. I threaded the laces through the top hole too because I liked them better that way. For canvas shoes they have better arch support than most but do not expect a full arch support insole, just good for comparable styles. My toddler wears a 9½ in New Balance sneakers and a 9 was getting tight in slip on shoes from Target. I bought the 9 and there is lots of room to grow. An 8 would have probably fit, but this way with thick (and later thin) ankle socks I can make them last all summer and into the fall. I only wish all toddler shoes had elasticized tongues like this along with the laces so they would look cool but still be easy to get on. They are great play shoes for the park and can be worn with just about anything.
