Nice shoes - they look like Chuck All-Stars, but heavy duty - being a work shoe. As always, Converse runs one whole size smaller then what you normally wear - so they felt a little tight at first, until they broke in. But as I always say - if it ain't tight, it ain't right!
Brands I'd also recommend: doc martins, vans,converse

They run about one size bigger. They are very comfortable. I work in a warehouse where I spend over 8 hours standing up and they do make a difference. They look cool and tough at the same time.

I have never had a more pleasant shoe shopping experience! All my questions were answered by the The Zappos Customer Loyalty Team, (thanks, Crystal). I needed footware for work and riding the motorcycle, but don't like regular boots. Without this site I might never have known these shoes existed! I was not sure about size, and find that all Converse run 1/2 size larger than marked, (I normally wear a 12, but get Chuck's in 11.5). Crystal agreed, and explained the free return shipping policy. They came just a few days later, and fit perfectly! The only problem I had was breaking in one of the shoes for the first couple of days. It leather was very stiff and rubbed against my heel. But now that's passed. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will be back!

The 11 feels true to an 11. I am a professional mover and needed something lightweight for running up and down stairs. They offer plenty of protection in the toe and don’t slow you down on a long day. I would recommend getting an insert if you are going to be doing a lot of running around. There is not a lot of padding near the heel. All in all great safety, pretty good comfort, and great looks. A solid 8-9 out of 10.

I bought these from another shoe store and only paid less for them on sale. They are a very rigid shoe and need to be broken in, but it's a great shoe to wear when you want to wear a pair of Chucks, but the weather is cold and damp and raining. Converse should make these a little higher than a hi-top and more like a boot, 6-8 inches high.

If you love your Chucks you\'ll love these. Just like they say in the ad. Two of these work boots way as much as one of my old boots. Felt like Chucks the first time I put them on. Ordered my exact foot measurement and went by Zappos chart and was delighted with the fit. I am on my feet for 12 hour days and on concrete and ladders, so far so good. Great build full leather outers but like chucks not big and poofy on the inside like other boots. The sole is like Chucks but quite a bit more rigid. It seems to me basketball shoe designers can design a great and comfy work boot. Zappos is a great shoe store and thanks for putting the shoe laces in before shipping.\r\n PS\r\nDo not put this in my review but edit this review as needed to convey my happiness with your company and these boots.

This is a great work shoe. I especially like the lightweight protective toe and the excellent ankle support with high-top laces. The toe material also resists scratches, and the leather uppers conform well to your foot and ankle. It is lighter in weight than most work boots. On the downside it is available only in black and the inner sole feels a bit lumpy (I fixed this by adding a removable footpad with extra arch support).
