Long time Chucks wearer...first pair was 1962...miss the blue band around side of sole and red band around shoe that separated the canvas from the sole. Sorry they dropped the blue tag on the back with Chuck Taylor's autograph. Learned early on to skip the middle (4th) grommet when lacing, more flexible on instep.

I wear a women's 8½ and the size 8 fits fine. The shoes are not comfortable however, they have a very flat stiff sole without arch support. I tried adding an after market arch support, and the sole is still too stiff for me to walk in. I suppose for the price one is lucky to get shoes to begin with.

Great classic shoe. So glad it's still available. Neutral color goes with most everything.

I wear a 10.5, but in this shoe, a 9 feels great. Love these Chucks. Better made than in the past - the stitching is firm and precise, and the sole is attached in a way which won't tear from the canvas.
I'd also recommend: Patagonia

What can I say? The classic Chuck in grape...an American icon, now available in rainbow colors! I only wish they were still manufactured here in the States. By the way, arch support is for apes. It's okay to have flat feet, according to the most recent research on the subject. Converse aren't the best shock absorbing shoe and the arch support is nominal, but for casual comfort, they can't be beat!
