My favorite pair... I recently got these and they immediately became my favorite pair of casual wear shoes. They look great and feel even better. I love the ankle support that these give, much higher than most athletic shoes. Also very light and quickly broken in.

Pretty good Pair - Before this pair I had a pair of regular cloth hi tops that were a good fit. With this pair I had some problems with the shoe initially being too stiff, and the tongue of the shoe scrunching up creating a sharp tab that dug into my foot that was painful. On one of the shoes it took some fancy scissor and sew work to fix the problem and on the other shoe the problem with away once I broke it in more. Now I have a slight issue with having to retie my shoes too frequently as they don’t feel tight enough ever. But that’s probably cuz of my lacing style. As for comfort and style its the best looking pair of shoes I’ve ever had.

Converse "I Robot Leather Chucks are the BOMB!!! Look great, feel great and even smell great. Now if you want to know how to make any pair of Chuck Taylors feel better on your feet (not the best support)I'm here to tell ya. Get these Dr. Scholls foot inserts (the blue ones with memory foam), cut them to fit, put them in and your good to go!!!!

A great update for my Cons! I've worn canvas Cons for 15 years now. I've been intrigued by the leather ones, but always a little dubious. I finally decided to take the plunge, and am happy I did! They basically look exactly the same as the canvas ones, but are sturdier. I like how the Converse patch has an embroidered feel to it. The shoes themselves feel a little bit snug - it might just be from the leather making them less flexible than the canvas versions.

Most Excellent Shoes - These are the best shoes! They're the original style, but with an added feature- LEATHER! The original canvas material shoes have several problems (I think). After a while the canvas will fade to a lighter color. After so much wear, the inside lining will rip up and holes will form at the pressure points on both sides of the shoe where your foot bends as you walk. These leather ones will give you no trouble like the canvas ones do. I've worn these leather shoes for a year now, and they still look great! My grandma just ordered me another pair off of here; haven't even broken them in yet. Leather Converse will always be the only Converse I will ever buy. Cheers, Chris

Old School Cool - Great shoe. Classic look. These sneakers break in well. The leather develops its fair share of cracks over time and eventually will mold to ones natural foot contours. This shoe does not have any high tech bells or whistles. Its old school technology meaning that walking in these shoes for 15 miles will definitely make your feet a tad sore. But thats OK. These shoes will forever have a style of there own so be different and continue a tradition since 1923.

Three weeks in - review part 2 - Ok, have been wearing the black I-Robot chucks for over three weeks now and I take back what I said about the leather being poor quality. They are awesome and hold up to abuse quite well, even ran them through the washer and dryer after a plumbing mishap at work and they look as good as new!

Great looking shoe! I purchased this shoe for my husband who had to have it after watching Will Smith in I-Robot. He has only worn the shoe once, but has said the fit is similar to the other Converse shoe. There is no arch support, it's just a great shoe to wear occasionally.

Not great quality leather, but a freaking cool shoe anyway. First off, really awesome shoe... looks subdued but stands out at the same time if that makes sense. Color matches almost any pants without being too wild, but when people see that they are leather they love them. BUT - the leather appears to be poor quality and thin. I am guessing it will show wear very quickly, though that might be part of the appeal on them. I personally would have liked a bit thicker leather on them, but am keeping them nonetheless.

Review of leather Converse All Star - My son loves wearing these shoes. They were as described. I ordered these around 10:00 pm on a Thursday night and they were at the post office the following Monday. We were very pleased.

Dress Up Chucks - My husband only wears Chuck Taylors...been wearing them since he was 7 and he is now 54. His feet are shaped like 'em, no lie! These leather Chucks are really the coolest; he calls them his tux chucks. Soft leather and a great look, how can you go wrong? Highly recommended for the Chuck lover in your life.

Awesome All-Around Shoe - Anyone who knows the All-Star knows that a good pair of insoles is needed in these things. That said; these are a great pair of shoes. It's my 4th pair of Taylors and probably my most favorite. I can wear them with just about any outfit- almost. I dig the embroidered logo vise the traditional patch.

A Classic Made Even Better - Having flat feet, shoes with arch support tend to hurt me. So Converse All-Stars have been in my closet for 20 years. These are, by far, my most favorite pair. They are more comfortable than any other pair of Chuck's I've owned. The leather isn't particularly heavy, but seems durable. (The Star logo is embroidered- nice touch!) As usual, Zappos had them on my doorstep in no time!
