Great shoes. Super comfortable. The only thing is that they fit very large to size. I usually wear 9s, but a 9 in these was way too big. I had to go down to an 8 to get a reasonable fit. Just keep that in mind when ordering.

These are the best shoes. Ever. Except one minor flaw. The bottom falls out. I\'ve owned four different pairs now over two year period, buying my fifth. Kind of expensive for only lasting a couple months. I don\'t understand because my regular chucks are indestructible. The longest these have lasted have been 6 months. The pair I\'m wearing right now just busted through after only two months, another $95 down the drain...

Absolutely the best shoe on the planet - I wear a size 10 shoe & the 9 1/2 was too tight so I would not listen to the advice of buying one half size down from your regular size. I wear these without socks everywhere I go & they are as soft & as smooth & comfortable as anything I've ever worn. Very pricey, but worth it as I just bought a second pair to save for a rainy day.

Great for anything - You can rock these with anything...To work with your khakis and button down shirt...or out to the club with your jeans, t-shirt and Room 101silver wear! It's all good with these Chucks...always get curious comments about the no-laces look...conversation starter for sure.

Vintage Slip - They recommend a half size smaller than your normal size but I needed a full size smaller and they still might be too big.

As cool as can be for what they are. The idea of laceless, distressed canvas, and rubber sneakers with little or no arch support for this amount seems like a really silly waste of money. But Mr. Varvatos hit one out of the park with these shoes. They look great, they're comfortable, and you feel good wearing them as long as you don't try to do any athletic jock stuff with them on. These babies rock and I look forward to slipping them on every couple of days and chilling out and feeling cool, which is a major kick since I'm not cool. Now if only someone could come up with a design for comfortable, supportive, eco-friendly footwear that looked as good and made you feel as good as these do, they'd have a real winner there. But until that time, these will do fine.

Review - I ordered a half size smaller than my usual size and it fits great. The only thing that bothered me was that it didn't feel snug enough (my heel would slide up the shoe when I walked). But I fixed that using a single shoe lace on the top eyelets. You can't even see it. Zappos shipping and service were A+.

Good - These shoes are great for slip on flats. They’re obviously more for style than anything else since they have no arch. Otherwise the weathered look works well since even when they get dirty, they still look good.

Varvatos Slip On Black - As classic yet as comfortable as a shoe can get. I wear these shoes EVERYWHERE. They look great with any outfit and are the most comfortable shoes ever. I’m planning on buying an additional exact pair of these limited shoes before they sell out for good. Way more comfortable then any other converse...

More comfortable than expected - I purchased this shoe because of the look, but I now love it because of its comfort. It is easily the most comfortable pair of Chucks I've ever owned. There is more cushion than the average all-star. Plus, it looks cooler too.

Thank God for moleskin - Look...these shoes just look great. They do...the problem I felt immediately was this ridge on the inside of the shoe (where the tongue meets the rest of the upper). It rubbed me the wrong way...I finally bought self-adhesive moleskin and covered it. They're cute shoes...but for that price there shouldn't be any engineering flaws.

Hip, happening, cool and comfortable... ...These are my very favorite sneaks. The Varvatos versions are well worth the extra cash, as they're far more comfortable, and will last a lot longer. I have them in a couple of colors (but then again, I'm a shoe freak). Get them a half size to a full size smaller --- if you're in doubt, go a half and put in an odor eater or something. Your regular size will just be way too big.

Hip comfort - I recently purchased the Converse by John Varatos' Vintage Court Slip-On. They are great to wear with anything. Comfortable, hip and easy. I purchased the sage color and they go with everything.

Converse by John Varvatos Vintage Court Slip-on - This shoe is great, I have these in sage, black, and red suede! I wear them all the time whether walking my dogs, running errands, or going out with a dressy/casual look. The only thing bad I have to say is the rubber sides (adhering to the canvas) where your feet bend are not glued on very well, they tend to separate and remain that way even after I use super glue. Definitely one size larger than marked. I wear a true size 10 from most brands and a size 9 in Converse.

Great classics - Timeless... love ‘em. Though they aren’t quite holding up as I'd hope. The sidewall around the sole is separating from the shoe. Be prepared for everyone to ask where your laces are.

Great Shoe - One of the, if not the, best pair of shoes I own. I also own a pair of regular Chuck Taylor All Star Slip-Ons and this pair of shoes has a much thicker foot bed and improved backing by the heel. Took Zappos’ advice and ordered a half size down and they fit perfect. First time ordering from Zappos, and I was astonished at their customer service. Ordered on a Sunday and received the following Monday. They have a customer for life.
