Very well made sweater; tightly knit, and the very plush fur lining covers the interior/body of the garment as well as extending onto the collar. It feels like the kind of sweater that will last for years. I just have two complaints on the design: 1) The lambswool is on the rough side, and unless I wear a long sleeved shirt underneath, the skin on my arms, the sleeves of the sweater are unlined, gets itchy. 2) The absence of handwarmer/slant pockets. I suppose because the sweater has a cropped length that hits right above the hip. Still, it would have been nice to have chest pockets at the very least. This particular sweater has a boxy cut with a lot of give/stretch to it. I'm a size 12/14 and the medium fits perfectly with room for light layering underneath.

At first felt half size too small, but turned out to fit perfect after wearing for a few days. Not sure were they got the -25F rating as my feet were cold after 20 minutes in 10F weather shoveling snow, but I didn't purchase them as snow boots. They are perfect for a winter shoe that is nice enough to wear to the office when snow boots are overkill. They are now my daily shoe for winter wear in Chicago. Love them.

I just got my Columbia Bugzip boots, and they are the best fit I've found for my narrow feet (AAA in dress shoes), even with only one pair of medium-weight socks. The firm (stiff, to some reviewers) fit provides support for my narrow feet and rather thin ankles. These boots provide more support than most B width boots; feet don't slide around inside them, and it doesn't feel as if my ankles will bend too much. Therefore, I expect them to be very stable on icy streets for that reason, in addition to the significant tread on the soles. I will probably be able to add a moderate insole or orthotic when these become softer, but at present, I actually don't need one. Also, something about the design makes my feet look a bit shorter than usual, which is not a bad thing! I wear a 10 in dress shoes, ordered a 10.5 in these, and they are none too big; I'm considering sending them back for an 11. These boots would seem tight, stiff, and hard to put on for someone with a thicker ankle, but they are fine for someone with a narrow foot and similarly narrow ankle. I ordered these after 3:00 p.m. and they arrived by noon the next day! Yay, Zappos!

These boots were a gift for our daughter and she absolutely loves the unique look of a very warm, comfy boot. They are warm and stylish, which is a great combo!

Columbia, you need to get your sizing right. This boot would be perfect if I could only find one that fit. I wear size 9 or 9.5. I ordered this Columbia Sierra Summette boot in Fossil/Cosmo Blue, size 9.5. I thought it fit at first, but it turns out it is about a half size too small and is too narrow. I have an average width foot, but it kills my foot to wear this boot as it is so tight in the width. It won't stretch because it is molded rubber. The length seems OK. So I decided to order a size 10 next. The only color left was Mud/Icecap. I figured a half size up would solve the width problem. Well, I was so surprised when the boots came today and they were ridiculously small; the size 10 is way smaller than the size 9.5 in the other color, in both length and width. My mother wears a size 8.5 and the size 10 in Mud/Icecap fit her perfectly. It shouldn't be so hard to make a boot in a consistent size, especially at this price. The boots are going back to Zappos.

I bought these boots because I wanted a waterproof boot with good tread that I could wear under my jeans, that was not too high on my calf to wear walking around my college campus this winter. These are perfect! They felt tight at first, but once i took out the insoles (and put them in my sneakers) they felt perfect. It is super comfy, good support, definitely waterproof, and some awesome tread that will prevent slipping on ice and snow.

These boots are terrific. My wife originally ordered a size 10 1/2 and I normally wear a 10. They fit but were a little tight so I ordered an 11 and these were perfect for wearing with extra thick socks. They are rated for -25F, but are superior to boots that I recently purchased that were rated to -60F. Nothing will keep your feet warm at subzero unless you keep moving, however, but these are especially good with a couple pairs of socks. They come off and on easily so if you do get cold, you can slip them off quickly and put in a chemical foot warmer without freezing to death while doing it.

These are super comfortable! These boots are awesome! They are very comfortable and extremely warm. They are stylish, too! I bought them to wear out in the winter weather because I don't want to ruin my UGG shoes. I usually wear a 9 and bought a size 9 boots. There is still plenty of room to wear thick socks with.

This boot will definitely keep you warm and dry. Some of the prettier boots have a tendency to leak in wet slushly conditions. The bottom of this boot is molded sort of like crocs and very lightweight. These would be more attractive if the black was broken up a little bit. They are a bit masculine looking. I chose the other Columbia that came in brown and white. I ordered a half size up and they were perfect. Nice that they even offer half sizes. Would definitely be comfortable, dry and warm for many hours outside.

Very nice and very comfortable. These boots are very lightweight, sort of like crocs. They have a thick sole on the bottom that is very comfortable to walk on and I imagine provides good insulation from the ground. Easy to get on and off. I usually wear a 9, but I bought a 9.5; they fit perfect with or without thick wool socks.

These run way big. I've always bought a size 7.5 in every other brand. After reading the reviews of this shoe I decided to order a size 7. Got them today and the size 7 is huge. They fall right off my feet if I try to walk in them. Zappos is out the size 6.5 so I'll be returning them. Plus, I found them cheaper on another site (other site also has free overnight shipping and free returns).

Nice shoe and Zappos delivery is amazing! I ordered these shoes late last night and received them today at 4:00 pm, way under 24 hours after ordering, and shipping was free, as always! The shoes themselves are nice, great low profile and comfortable fit. But I am so amazed and distracted by the Zappos delivery that I can hardly concentrate on the actual shoes!

These are great boots for snow and ice. They keep my feet warm and they look good, too. I keep wearing them even when the snow has melted, because they are toasty and comfortable. The laces are a little annoying, but that's a minor quibble. Overall, a really good deal. Zappos shipping was amazing, too.

I\'ve had these shoes for about 6 months now and wear them frequently. They are extremely comfortable. I wear them with and without socks depending upon the weather. I feel that they make my feet look a little wider than normal, but given how incredibly comfortable they are, I really have no complaints. I took them on vacation as one of only two pairs of shoes, the others being sandals and I wore these almost every day all day long and they never hurt my feet in any way. I love them!

The Columbia boots I purchased fit perfectly and are so warm. I get at least one compliment every time I wear them. I didn\'t want Uggs but wanted a stylish boot that I could tuck my pants into so they don\'t get salt stains. These are perfect!

I really like these boots. They are the warmest boots I\'ve ever owned. My feet are warm, even in temperatures of -25 degrees Fahrenheit. They plow through snow without any problems. The only very minor drawback is that they are on the heavier side. Overall, these are very good boots and an excellent value for the price.

I got these boots, a second time, from Zappos just before the 2009 blizzard. These boots proved excellent at handling the 2 feet of snow. They also worked for sledding and fort building. My feet stayed dry and warm all day long with only one pair of wool socks on. I love these boots and will recommend to folks I know and to you.

These shoes are awesome. I ordered them by mistake and decided to keep them! I was ordering various styles that could be worn walking through water and hiking for our trip to Hawaii. This pair appeared on the page as an alternate suggestion. I guess it worked because I bought these and a pair that can be worn in water. I wear a 10N which is usually not available in outdoor shoes of this type. These fit snug enough because the laces go far down the shoes. I love the pink laces!

The thermal insulation of the upper part of the boot is good. However, the bottom part, the footbed, is letting cold in. The feet freeze from down under. This boot is no good for a couple of degrees below freezing, let alone the advertised temperatures of -65F. You need to buy a separate thermal insole for this boot, which means the value is not there.

I've been wearing these boots for 2-3 weeks. So far they are warm and comfortable. I've been able to test them out in the snow quite a bit and they work well. The fit for me is fairly true to size, a tiny bit big but not uncomfortably so. Enough extra room for bigger socks. Occasionally the heel "eats" my socks. The treads are good for snow. I've gotten compliments on them. Overall, I'm happy with these.

I ordered these boots for my father; he is over 60 years old and in need of lightweight, warm, comfortable winter boots. There was a big smile when he lifted the boots from the box, feather light! Yesterday we got plenty of snow to try them out on the slippery surface. Great traction as well as warmth! Seem to be true to size. Great buy, highly recommended!

Bought them because I wanted a winter shoe that was warm, but not heavy and clunky like my snow boots that I wear when it's really cold and the snow is deep. Love the style and color, goes great with jeans. Don't really need heavy socks with them. You may want a half size bigger if you plan to wear heavy duty socks with them. Always had good luck with Columbia jackets. Lovin' these Columbia boots as well.

I'm a size 5 and ordered a size 5. They felt a little loose in the ankle area with a thin pair of socks, added another pair and they fit perfect. They keep my feet warm and offer the arch support I need. I had to replace an old pair of Timberlands that just fell apart after 15 years and ordered a pair of The North Face along with these. Sending the TNF back and keeping these because of the comfort and arch support are better. I highly recommend these boots, easy on and off and I love that there are no laces. The adjustable cord to keep snow out is a huge plus.
