Great shoe, I have hiked over 100 miles with this shoe and had no problems. Hiked 45 miles of the AT with 35 lb pack and still had comfortable feet. Stayed dry even during an afternoon thunderstorm.

Bought these for my husband to replace a pair of similar Columbia shoes. He is very hard on shoes and the old pair lasted a long time, so felt pretty confident to buy another pair of Columbias. They fit just as good and are just as comfortable as the old pair, which is about as much comment on shoes as I ever get from him.

This pair of Columbia shoes size 10.5 were smaller than the 10.5 Columbia Firelane Low shoes that I bought last year.

Bought the 8.5 for my husband, which is his usual size. The toe box of this shoe was really narrow and pinched his toes. He also only wore around the house for one day and the shoe smelled of foot odor from just that small amount of wear. Can't imagine what it would be like after a few weeks of vacation this summer.
