I hate baggy hiking pants, and these are perfect -- slim without being too tight. I'm 5'8", 121 lbs, and the 6 long fits perfectly. The Grill color is nice.

I rated these pants fairly low for overall/comfort only because I'm curvy and they're not designed for curvy girls. They fit perfectly in my waist but were way to tight in the hips. If you're curvy, try the North Face Horizon Tempest pants--those fit my hips and waist perfectly (plus have a waist drawstring for even further adjustment). These were a little shinier, too, so they looked a little more like ski or rain pants than the North Face ones. On the plus side, these are super lightweight so I can tell they'd be great for travel--they'd pack up in a tiny space and would dry quickly after hand washing.

Runs small. I usually wear a 10 and the 12 fit. Buttons for capri are hidden which is a nice feature. Helps disguise the fact that they are convertible.

I gave this 4 stars for Style for what it is -- they're cute for the purpose they serve. I haven't worn them yet, but just trying them on they're pretty comfortable and don't "swish" as loudly as I thought. The one big gripe is that they run super small. I'm normally a size 4 in pants, but even a size 6 is tight in the hip and thigh area. After 3 tries I finally went with the size 8 which is a little loose, but better than being too tight. The sewn in elastic bands will help keep the waist area tighter.

I have a small rear and narrow hips, and I think these are the first pair of pants that I have ever tried on where the main problem area was that the butt was too tight. I ordered my normal size, a 6, and the waist was a little snug. If they were otherwise comfortable I would have tried a size up, but I found these much too constricting for pants to hike in.
