Everyday wear - I really like the boots, but the only problem I can point out is the fact that the shoes laces don't stay tied unless you double tie them. I thought in this day and age we would have figured out how to make laces that don't come untied. Other than that, it is worth the money.

Columbia is Quality - I had a pair of Columbia hikes like this before and they lasted about two-and-a-half years. Great product for the money!! I wear them for work five days a week. Better than Red Wings Shoes.

My new favorite boot - I wear a size 16D and live in Alaska. These boots are very comfortable and have kept me warm and dry this winter even after walking through ice melt puddles with water up to the laces. I've been wearing them all day at work and on long hikes without any moisture build up. I'm really very pleased.

This is a really great looking pair of shoes. I usually take them with me on vacation to the Caribbean and Central America as I consider it a “summer” or warm climate shoe. It looks great with a linen suit or linen pants and a Hawaiian shirt. However, I do want to mention a few things. I wear a size 10D. I found the size 10D to be a little large. Almost as if it was a 10.5, but the shoe does say 10D. So you may consider ordering a half size smaller. I kept mine because I also found the inside sole padding to be on the hard side. So I got a set of Dr. Scholls gel inserts and fit them in both shoes. The fit is now much better and I get the added comfort of a softer sole. In summary, I’m pretty happy with them. Everyone comments on how nice they look. I just hope I don’t spill red wine on them...

Columbia (Package Ridge Mid Omni-Tech) This is my second paid of these Columbia's. I have been in Iraq and Afghanistan for 3 years now and these boots have been a life saver for not only me but for the guys I work with. We all have these boots. So lasting 3 years in the harsh environments we have been working, words can not measure the satisfaction we have with this product. Thanks

Great Boot! First, this boot looks good. Putting them on was like slipping into a pair of comfy old sneakers. Next week I'm touring Berlin, so we'll see how it goes. I have worn size 15 since I was in high school. The past year or so I noticed some 15's were not fitting right. I thought I had a problem with width, but it was the size. So I measured my foot width and length and to my surprise I need size 16. Columbia has been great supplying my size. And Zappos sells my size in a wide variety of styles. My order took only 2 days to reach me! I am overseas at an APO address and that is incredibly fast. I will return to Zappos for all my shoes. So far, I highly recommend this boot and this website.

Good shoe, great experience - Great pair of boots... look and feel great. I was worried about the warmth for colder climates (mid-west winters), but so far it has not been an issue. Plus, my feet have stayed dried, but my ordering experience was truly great. I ordered the boots and was notified later that day that they had already shipped. Within 2 days I had them. I will definitely be ordering from Zappos again.

I bought these boots for work as I'm on my feet 8 hours per day and need something that is comfortable. I've purchased two different pairs of Columbia boots in the past and have been very happy with them. Unfortunately, shortly after ordering the Packus Ridge model, I changed jobs and never had the need to wear these on a daily basis. While they are a comfortable boot right out of the box, I can't comment on their extended wear comfort. The one issue I have with the boot is that the leather is much lighter than what is pictured on the website. I may spray them with waterproof just to darken them up a shade, but overall, a very good boot for the money.

Maybe not a "D"- I purchased partly because I've had Columbias before and liked them. I've worn 12D for over 40 years, these did not feel like a "D' width. The insole felt too thin, I could feel the lugs of the sole through the insole with every step. Did a lot of searching, greatly disappointed. Returned them after walking around the house a couple of different days.
