The wide size is way too narrow. Even if you have a regular size foot, you probably would want the EE size. I couldn\'t even get my toes in it. Found a Timberland boot at DSW that fit, though, so these are going back to Zappos. I\'m finding it very hard to find wide shoes that are actually wide on Zappos lately.

Was looking to replace an older pair but couldn't find them in any retail store. Went to Zappos and found them in an instant. Great quality shoe, comfortable lightweight and perfect for winter. Highly recommend them.

I purchased these boots for my husband for the N.Y. winter. It keeps his feet warm and are very comfortable. The boot does look a bit cheap I guess because of the synthetic overlay but he is happy with them. The only thing I am not happy about is UPS. They never ring the bell to check if someone is home so they either leave the packages in the hallway or give them to the handyman even though we are home. Very unhappy with their service.

I wore around the house for two days and the hard outer sole kinks over my toes. Quite uncomfortable.

These boots fit true to size. Attention flat-footed people: the original insole has a huge arch but is easily removable. I installed an insole with no arch. I like plain and simple things. I really like how these boots are function yet simple. They are mostly all one color, very grippy, and warm.

These boots were all I hoped for. They have a nice high arch support which really helps my feet. The break-in period was relatively short - about 2 weeks. My previous pair of hikers (Timberlands) took much longer. I am quite happy with these boots.

Ordered these for work, I walk around houses all day doing insurance inspections. I found them to be very comfortable from the minute I put them on my feet. I often encounter some very rough terrain and wet, cold conditions. These boots keep my feet so comfortable that I don't even need to pull them off the minute I hit the motel room.

I tried on a Dillon Ridge at SA and it fit well but these were much narrower and the toe box height was tighter as well. Too bad, this is better looking boot with higher quality hardware.

I ordered these boots just for some day to day living in snowy cold weather. So far I have been pleased as they have kept my feet dry and warm. They took about a week or two of solid wear to shape to my feet. There is no discomfort now. My only issue is the grip. I don't hike or climb in these boots; however, I have caught myself slipping a bit. I live in the city so its just ice and slush, but I was expecting a little more stability when crossing those types of terrain.

Took only a few days of walking to break in. Extremely sturdy and waterproof. Also tried Fastpacker Mid GTX, Belknap Mid, White Ledge Mid, Vindicator II Mid GTX. In comparison to those, this boot has better support, a stiffer shank, better materials and construction. Not to mention it is true to size, if not width (runs narrow, but that is fine for me). Only wish it had longer laces.

Shoes feel sturdy and well made, but I prefer wide shoes. I ordered this pair in wide and it feels like my small toe is smashed.
