Very warm. The tongue is connected to the boot, making it somewhat difficult to get it onto the feet; but this is also what makes the boot warm and keeps water out.
Brands I'd also recommend: kamik

I just could not get these on my 18 month old. I even order them slightly larger, but they were just too padded at the heel area. Seemed to be great quality and they were adorable, but they just wouldn't go on his foot. Had to return them.
