It took me awhile to get the right pair of shoes. I have Morton's Neuroma and needed water shoes that would offer great arch support yet be versatile enough to wear in and out of the water, on and off the beach. Not having time to break these shoes in before leaving on vacation, I was delighted, and frequently found myself commenting, on how comfortable these shoes were while doing a lot of walking. They dried relatively quickly and looked stylish enough to wear to dinner at night. A really versatile water shoe that I would recommend. Last night, I did have to get a half size smaller. I usually wear a 7 but found the 6.5 a better fit.

I got these for a trip to Hawaii. The description and the fact that they are in the "amphibious" category led me to believe they are water shoes. They are pathetic as water shoes. The water doesn't drain out at all through the tiny metal vents, sand and debris get stuck inside as a result, and worst of all the shoe takes days to dry, resulting in a soggy stinky mess. My boyfriend went everywhere I did in his Tevas, and they dried overnight and didn't smell afterward. The traction is also pretty terrible in slippery conditions (I fell down a muddy hill). Now, as a simple walking shoe, they're quite comfortable. They do run quite large, too, as I had to get a 5 (usually get a 6) and my heel still slipped a bit. Overall, disappointed because they claim to be something they're not, but I'd be pretty happy with them if I'd purchased them as a casual walking shoe.

Great shoe, I bought these shoes to prepare for my 10 day trip to Europe. I got them yesterday and am wearing them until I leave (4 days) to break them in. So far they are very comfortable and causing little to no irritation. They are not heavy at all, although they are not as light as some shoes. I love these shoes and am so glad Zappos got them to me so quickly. I ordered my exact size and they fit perfectly.

Very disappointed. Ordered 11, too big. Returned and ordered 10, too small. Out of 10.5. Had to pick a different shoe. Strap over the top seemed flimsy, too.

Columbia Damselfly - This is a cute shoe on, but even tho' I went a half-size down, it was still a little big on my foot in length and width. My main concern was that it didn't support my foot well enough.

Love them! I purchased these a few months ago and I really love them. As always, the first few times I wore them, I didn't go on any long walks, just running errands, etc. By the end of the day of errand running, I did have a few reddish spots at the edge of the shoes above my toes, but it was barely sore and that was wearing them without socks. I've now worn them several times and they are so comfortable. They are now my favorite non-sandal shoe. I bought mine in my regular size and they fit very well, though my feet are slightly wide.

Stylish walking shoe - I wore these shoes for a 4-day walking trip. I felt the shoe had good body structure, great rugged sole for slippery/wet sidewalks. The strap was comfortable. I did not have issues with the heel tag. The toe bed was tighter than other Columbia shoes I own which irritated my small toe. The irritation lessened as the shoes were stretched out, but it's not totally comfortable yet. I highly recommend a low cut footie hose sock and powder to ease the break in process. In the end, these were good enough to wear out of the box.

WOW!!! I just got these and they are great! Lightweight, stylish, and excellent support/insoles. I ordered them a 1/2 size smaller as recommended by the other reviews and it fits perfect. I have terrible feet and need more shoes like this.

Cute shoe, but not if you have narrow feet. My heel also kept slipping out of the back. Otherwise ok.

Great sporty slip on - Wide for a regular width, comfort sole with a ballet look, aggressive sport styling with a feminine touch--soft suede and curvy strap. The strap may be a little snug for a high instep.

This shoe was cute, but a 1/2 size too large. Unfortunately this shoe doesn't come in an 11 1/2 so I won't be able to exchange, but I do think it would be a very comfortable shoe, if it fit.

Darn! The thing sticking up in the heel was uncomfortable. Plus, they are a little heavy, and made my feet hot. Ended up buying Keen.

A lightweight comfy shoe but order a whole size smaller. Unfortunately, this shoe is NOT for narrow feet. I had to return mine because my narrow feet kept slipping out of the back.

Love these!!!! These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. I am going on a 2 week trip to Thailand and Nepal and wanted walking/light hiking shoes that were comfortable that I didn't have to wear socks with, that weren't totally ugly. These are perfect! I ordered a half size down, which wasn't enough, so I ended up ordering a whole size down from what I usually wear, but they fit great and are soooo cute! I may start wearing them around with jeans!

Order a half size smaller. I love these shoes and am normally an 8.5 or 9 but have to exchange for an 8. Super comfortable, but I did find that on one foot, the heel rubbed against my ankle - just one foot though, and in the size too big. Not too bulky looking, which is good in this kind of shoe.
