Not really waterproof during heavier rains, but it is a nice, very lightweight, well-constructed jacket that is great for a lot of occasions. Just not heavy rain. It is very casual looking, but I suppose most wind/rain jackets are.

I needed something light and breathable for those warm spring rainy days. The perfect in and out of the rain jacket. I will bring this along when out in the boat and a shower happens along. Fast delivery too.

Large is roomy but not too big. The jacket does "breathe." I have two, one blue, one black. I wear for all around but especially strolling, walking and short hikes.

Exactly what I needed in a packable lightweight rain jacket for hiking. Not intended for working outside in an extended downpour, it's perfect for the occasional shower encountered while out on the trail. I purchased one size up in order to accommodate whatever other layers I am wearing, but the cut is roomy and I would probably purchase my true size in any future order.

Jacket is lightweight and comfortable. Not a typical heavy rain coat. If your going to be out all day in pouring rain, you might be happier with a heavier, more traditional raincoat. Sizing is accurate. Shipping was surprisingly fast.

I got this for my husband and he loved it. He needed a lightweight waterproof jacket with hood and this was perfect. The main reason I ordered it from Zappos was that we needed it quickly to wear to a football game in 2 days. Of course it arrived in time, along with a waterproof jacket I ordered for myself. If you EVER need anything quickly Zappos is the only place to shop online. They've saved Christmas, birthdays and our rainy football game!

Another quality product from Columbia. Sizing is consistent with other apparel from the brand and functions as advertised in that you will not get wet. A word of caution, however, the jacket is very thin and the front two pockets are just mesh netting on the inside. Thus, this is not a jacket that will keep you particularly warm. Best used as a waterproof shell.
