Very cheaply made shoe and weird! there is no right or left foot! It's the exact same shape either side, the only difference is on the tread, the arrows face one way or the other, I have tried wearing them and then switching feet and there is no difference. Not sure if this is a weird Chinese manufacturing error in some prison labor shop or Columbia thinks American's feet are shaped the same right and left? I'm keeping them as they are the cheapest party conversation piece I've ever seen. Otherwise they'd go right back to Zappos, they offer as much support and comfort as you would expect from shoes that fit both right and left interchangeably!
Brands I'd also recommend: Avoid Columbia

Just in response to the review posted earlier. I don't own these shoes but have tried them on in store. They seem perfectly normal to me (i.e. left and right shoes are clearly different and fit like any other shoes do). They run small as all Columbia shoes tend to (just order up a size or a half size). I've owned a number of Columbia shoes and have found them to be very well made and reasonably priced. I wouldn't keep buying their products if I weren't satisfied.

These boots are excellent they fit great and are a true awaking as a walking experience I work a job where I am on my feet all day and these shoes give me all the support I need it feels like I am walking on pillows and they look great as well I have gotten praise from my co-workers who have also invested in a pair I am about to order another pair to have on standby because I go through boots quickly on my job but I must say as these are my first pair of Colombia boots I was amazed at the comfort and am a satisfied customer.

If you wear 1/2 size larger boots than shoes, order in boot size. I ordered shoe size and were too small. Zappos customer service overnighted me a larger pair even though it was after 4:30 pm. Excellent customer service. Thanks, Zappos.

I just went on a long hike with these. They are terrible. Apparently buying the cheapest hiking boots and hiking in them causes blisters.

Wore these on a 35 mile camping trip in Banff. Only wore them on a 1 mile walk before the trip and had no problems with blisters or any discomfort. Other reviews were correct about the sizing. I am usually an 11, but I went with the extra half size and was very pleased. Great boot, better price!

I bought these for my boyfriend. He has a hard time finding shoes large enough. He said they were super comfy & roomy. They were for hiking on a camping trip, but he liked them so much that he wore them even when we went kayaking!

I really liked the style and the tread from the web pictures and when I received them, I still thought they were nice. After wearing them around house, they just were not as comfortable as my last pair of Columbia hikers and I can see my feet getting tired faster. I also ordered the Columbia Shasta Ridge to try on and they were so much more comfortable so I went with those.

These are very comfortable boots. I wear a size 16 normally and I ordered the 17 which fits great. They were comfortable from day one. After wearing them for a week I spent close to 24 hours in them at the Rolex 24 Hour in Daytona. They are good on asphalt as well as dirt and uneven terrain and they breath well.

I bought these for camping/atv trips. Ended up going down a steep hill to scout some places, and of course had to come back up. Very comfortable down and back up. Definitely worth the purchase.

Great product. Very durable and comfortable. Wouldnt expect anything less from Columbia. My last pair of Columbia boots lasted seven years, and I expect much of the same with this pair.

These are your typical work boots. They look a lot better than Timberland, but they are not great when it comes to comfort.

In response to Glacierhiker, I would like to point out that all hiking boots, and all shoes for that matter, require breaking in. A long hike in a brand new pair is asking for blisters. For the price, these boots are comfortable and well made.
