My husband is very pleased - When my husband discovered that he was lacking a decent pair of hiking boots, I dreaded making the rounds of the local stores with him. I found these boots on-line and they were delivered LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER THE ORDER WAS PLACED! To make a long story short, the boots look great, he says they feel very comfortable, the size was perfect and the service from Zappos can't be beat!

I bought these for a ski trip...they were perfect. My feet never got cold or wet and I wore them every day. I had to return another pair, different model, because the lace lugs were plastic and broke the first time I used them. These are metal and I didn't have any issues with them.

Really like them - I like these boots - I did not get them for hiking, but for shoveling snow and short walks to the car and office. I could see how if you wanted to walk a long distance without first breaking them in you would have trouble with the top of the boot chaffing your shin or calf. They are extremely warm and comfortable. If you are a hiker you know to break them in first anyway!! I would definitely recommend this boot and would also buy them again.

A review from one picky shoe person - The boot is a very good fit. I broke it in for two days in the house. It was tight at first but is fine know. Size is perfect-to-size and they keep my feet warm. I’m in Chicago and just went in some zero-degree weather and my feet were cold. I think in any sub-zero weather you would feel it. I would buy Columbia again after these.

I got these boots, a second time, from Zappos just before the 2009 blizzard. These boots proved excellent at handling the 2 feet of snow. They also worked for sledding and fort building. My feet stayed dry and warm all day long with only one pair of wool socks on. I love these boots and will recommend to folks I know and to you.

I ordered these for my husband. He is totally satisfied with the boots. They are true to size, sturdy but not too heavy, and very warm. He's been doing a lot of snow shoveling this winter, and has been very glad to have these boots. He has cold feet, but with these boots and warm socks, he has been fine when working outside for long periods. Kudos to Zappos, too! I ordered these during in mid-December and understood that delivery might take 2 to 4 days. So, I was thrilled when they were delivered the day after I ordered!

I got these just in time for the big blizzard and they are just the ticket. I wore them in 18 inches of snow and subzero temps for days and days. It's no big deal. They are warm, comfortable, not too heavy, suitable for shoveling the driveway, tromping through town regardless of whether the sidewalks and streets in town have been plowed or not. My feet and I feel pretty invincible in these boots.

The boot seems great. I'm a little sad about it actually. It's a half size too small. I'm normally a 10.5 and I think an 11 would fit perfect.

These are not the greatest looking boots, but they are really comfortable right out of the box. The fit is snug and warm. Zappos upgraded my shipping in time for the snow. I am happy I went with these. Also, they run a bit small. I am 11 1/2 and went with a 12 based on other customers' suggestions.
