I bought this bag for my husband because he was in need of one. The style is gorgeous with lots of pockets. The only downside is that the main compartment is on the backside which is very aggravating to get to. I know it's meant for snowboarders, but he pretty much uses it for everything. He hasn't used it for snowboarding yet so we'll see how that works out. Other than that it's a great bag with a very nice design.

This is a comfortable bag that carries weight well. The zippers/material were pretty stiff the first couple of uses (I have five days with it) and are still that way. They just do not close all that well, but are heavy duty. The fabric durable and looks good besides being very tear resistant. The bag has straps that help improve the angle of pull around your shoulders, but come off/unrolled and are supposed to allow for flexible storage and they do work fairly well. They are used to carry skis, snowboard, or whatever else you can cinch in there. I do wish they would carry my board vertically, but the horizontal configuration is good for not so windy, not so technical days. The storage on this bag is solid with tons of attachment points on the outside of it, waist pocket, and goggle pouch. It also has two vinyl coated loops that pull out of the bottom of the bag and can be used to hold various items like poles. The Omni-Heat function that is supposed to keep your water line from freezing did not work all that well for me. It was a tight fit and tough to get the strap closed with gloves on. We were in the Rockies for five days in weather that ranged from -15° to 35° and the hose froze once it got to the negatives unless you kept the fluid moving. The main water storage compartment is actually closest to your back to keep the water from freezing and it works as expected. Overall it is a 3½ for the pack. I would have liked the zippers to be easier to use especially with gloves since it is a winter bag. The freezing liquid in the hose is a problem if it is going to be really cold out. The straps do the job, but I like them better for hiking than I do for carrying my board. There is nothing wrong with the bag, but it does not make me want to shout from the rooftops either.
Brands I'd also recommend: Burton, CamelBak
