not for wide feet - I liked these shoes right out of the box, especially the elastic "lace" so you dont have to worry about them untying. However, when I wore these around the house for a few hours, I began to really want to take them off. They started feeling like they were squeezing my feet. I attribute this to having a wide foot, so I would not recommend them to people with wide feet. The elastic prevents you from being able to tie them loosely. This is the only reason I have to return them, i really liked everything else about them.

I just received these in the mail today. They seem to be good quality, and are very comfortable. They do seem to run 1/2 size large, at least. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, but the 8 I bought seems long. I could have gone as small as a 7.5 in these. I'd probably return them for another size, but I plan to use them this weekend and they aren't so big that I'm completely annoyed. I think they'll work fine for what I want (an all-terrain, low profile shoe than can handle water).
