These are a great looking pair of shoes, but though I have bought several pairs because of the look, all of them have holes in the soles. This is based on 4 pairs and all of them have holes. I have never had this in any other shoe.

Very poor durability... Zappos is great as always, but as a long term wearer of Cole Haan shoes, I am very disappointed with premature wear on the soles of this shoe and poor quality stitching between sole and upper of this shoe. I have had two pairs and both have holes in the soles after only 3-4 months of use. Not up to usual Cole Haan quality.

Reliable Cole Haan - Have worn Cole Haan loafers periodically for many years. Have always found them to be fashionable, and, if properly cared for, durable. This pair is comfortable and I anticipate that the quality will be the same as always.

Absolute Winner - I've been wearing Cole Haan dress shoes for about 5 years now. I purchased this pair of Pinch Buckle slip-ons six months ago (after wearing the same style with tassle.) The shoes are still in excellent shape - even though I wear them about 4 days a week. I cannot recommend these shoes more. Absolutely worth the price!

Another Cole Haan winner - I've been wearing Cole Haan shoes for years (mainly pinch tassels and cap toes). This is a new style for me, and I really like it. If you find CH pinch tassels comfortable, these should be as well. I've never ordered from Zappos before (had several positive testimonials from friends), but I am completely happy with the service and the shoes, and will order again. I've got a serious shoe jones.

Unbelievable - On Monday evening at about 6 or 7 PM I placed my order over the internet. It went off without a hitch. The doorbell rang this morning – Tuesday about 9 - opened my door and there inside the screen door were my shoes and the FedEx man was walking to his truck. Had seen the Pinch Buckle advertised on sale at one of the malls here in San Antonio, but they didn't have my size. I was really disappointed as I really like this style. Couldn’t believe it when I began looking on the internet and found you and the exact same shoe I so had to have. Love the shoes and they fit well as I had tried them on at the local mall and I knew what size to order. I told a lot of people about this unbelievable event.

Cole Haan Pinch Buckle - I love these shoes. This is my third identical pair. The only issue I have is the soles wear out very quickly. My last pair I had to have re-soled within six months, that's wearing them approx. three day a week. I had neoprene soles installed in hopes of getting longer life. Otherwise they are great shoes. Also Zappos service and shipping policy is incredible. Couldn't possibly be any better. Thank you...

5 star comfort but no staying power - We continue to buy the Pinch Buckle shoe for my husband because it's a very luxurious looking shoe. It's a little whimsical with the buckle, a little less staid and stodgy compared to a lace-on shoe. (In his job as a corporate pilot, he likes to be able to slip them off when needed without tying anything back on.) The fit for his 12 wide foot is very good. It doesn't squeeze across the width of the toes. It feels good out of the box. Now, why 4 stars...well...he wore these shoes a couple of days a week for approx nine months- and the sole is worn out. Honestly, that seems like pretty light duty for a shoe in this price range. He's had other brands that lasted far longer. So, be aware that the "life" of the shoe is less, but you get more pizzazz during the life!

Cole Haan Pinch Buckle - Classy looking shoe. Goes with casual and dress wear. Heel comfort is not as great as other softer heeled shoes.

Gorgeous but DELICATE - I purchased these for my husband and he liked the fit. He wears a 12 4E in tennis shoes, and in Cole he wears 12E. I was surprised they would fit that well. The break in was minimal, with one little blister on the back of the heel for a few days. They look gorgeous and the leather is supple and the buckle is very cute. HOWEVER, and this drops the shoe to 3 stars (if that!) two pairs have worn through in less then 6 months of use each. And he sits at his job most of the day! Wear these to church only and they might last you longer! Otherwise, recommended for fashion only.

Worst pair of shoes I have ever bought. Wouldn't recommend. Stretches out the upper & the sole is extremely slick. Have fallen once &; nearly had some close calls several times. Not worth the money.
