Born more than a century ago at the intersection of form and function, Cole Haan has been innovating ever since founder Trafton Cole started making resoleable shoes during the depression. After being bought by Nike in 1988, Cole Haan began introducing footwear with built-in air chambers, utilizing Nike's cutting edge technology to make everything from women's heels to wingtips more comfortable than they'd ever been. Today, the NYC-based brand takes its inspiration from the streets of New York City, offering a range of classic staples with their signature twist—from outerwear and handbags to heels and weekenders—that can stand up to the rigors of the city and still look good.

This is my first review. I absolutely love this shoe (along with other Cole Haan's with the Nike air technology). This shoe is not only sexy but very comfortable. I have back problems and am not really supposed to wear heels, but I just can't give them up! This shoe makes me totally forget about my back problems. I wear these all day and have no problems. Cole Haan open-toed shoes run about a half size smaller than closed-toed shoes. I normally wear a size 10 and in these shoes, I wear a 9.5. Enjoy! These are worth the money!

My favorite pair of pumps was a similar pair of Cole Haan, so when I needed a new pair that was my first choice. Wore these beautiful shoes to a wedding and receptions, so I was on my feet for 6 hours. This is the first time a pair of shoes caused such pain. They were not tight, so it must have been the angle of the foot. It is four days later and my feet are still numb and tingly, as if they fell asleep. It might be a pinched nerve, I just hope it improves. So, a warning to all, if they bothers you within the first hour of wearing, take them off!

These are too orangey - and for the price the cork is cheap looking, and I'm afraid it will wear down if they get wet or dirty.

I'm 63 years old but 5'2 (and overweight). With an important social function to attend I wanted/needed height. In my search for comfort and style I found these. Girls, these are the most comfortable high heel around. Beats all the others (for me) regardless of price. These are investment shoes, yes, but Cole Haan has put comfort into them. I'm practicing walking in them due to the height but it's not like some of the others where I feel like I'm going to teeter over. Feminine, looks great and comfort. Why both with the others? My advice is not to go cheap with this type of shoe. That's dangerous and foolish. Spend the money and know that you wouldn't get a better shoe for more money than these. Very happy. Thanks, Cole Haan!

Unexpectedly fabulous shoe. Embarrassingly comfortable. Fits exactly 1.75 toes in the peep hole. The heel feels a little thicker and rugged than it looked in the picture, which is mostly fine. The up-side is that it's a very solid going-out heel that won't get eaten by a NYC sidewalk, that also looks nice fairly nice. (A Thursday shoe. Not a Saturday shoe.) They do just kill it with a pair of skinny jeans. They have also worked their way into the regular rotation of black pumps I keep under my desk in my office.
