Born more than a century ago at the intersection of form and function, Cole Haan has been innovating ever since founder Trafton Cole started making resoleable shoes during the depression. After being bought by Nike in 1988, Cole Haan began introducing footwear with built-in air chambers, utilizing Nike's cutting edge technology to make everything from women's heels to wingtips more comfortable than they'd ever been. Today, the NYC-based brand takes its inspiration from the streets of New York City, offering a range of classic staples with their signature twist—from outerwear and handbags to heels and weekenders—that can stand up to the rigors of the city and still look good.

I love this shoe. In fact I bought all three colors. They are just very comfortable and with my curious feet, that is saying a lot.
I'd also recommend: I've never got a brand that I did not like.

These were so comfortable and the leather is gorgeous. I thought the style made me look a bit stumpy, and I'm not a stumpy person. The ankle strap is wide and hit at the worst possible place, visually. Plus, there's a great deal of foot exposure, so pretty feet required. too bad. They are gorgeous, just not on me.

I can't wait for summer. I love these sandals. They are gorgeous in the Sequoia color, and are comfortable out of the box. I'm so happy I found these. They will be my go-to shoes all summer long!

Love these shoes! More sturdy than they appear in the picture. I have a slightly wide foot and the medium width is a perfect fit. Can't wait for warmer temps!

My tolerance for uncomfortable shoes has been shrinking lately; how hard is it to include a padded footbed? Yet it's strangely hard to find cute shoes with them. These were basically what I was looking for, classic gladiator sandals, nice leather, comfortable for walking all day. They're really nice, attractive and well-made. I went back and forth between two sizes and went with the larger. As it turns out, I wish I'd picked the smaller, but it's not bad enough to hassle with sending back. The back zips, so they are easy to put on, but this makes them loose in the ankle. I don't mind this (makes your legs look thinner which is never a bad thing) but the rubbing on your ankle as you walk may get annoying with extended wear.
