This shoe was rather narrow and difficult for my 4 1/2 year old to get his foot into, then he couldn't seem to flex his foot while he walked and clomped around flat-footed like a duck! It's hard to find a white buckskin shoe in larger kids sizes so instead he'll be wearing dirty bucks (from Sperry, much more comfortable for him) with his seersucker suit. Oh well.

Love the color and texture of the shoes! Kinda carry a tint of grayish blue, adding style to the shoes and differentiating it from ordinary school shoes! Got a lot of compliments with them.
