Nobody has commented about the oxblood color, but it is really special. I was skeptical when a sales associate at Nordstrom urged me to try it (I was debating whether to buy the brown suede), but as soon as I saw them on I fell in love! It is such a beautiful color, but there is a strong black undertone, so you can wear it like a neutral but still have it pop. They look smashing with black, navy, khaki, or denim pants or skirt. As others have said, there is something miraculous about the fit of this boot and how it flatters the foot and leg. I am average height and don't have long or particularly nice legs, but in this boot my foot looks elegant and my legs look long and lean like in no other shoe or boot I have ever owned. The suede is high quality and the Nike technology make them super comfortable. I am a solid size 7.5B show size, and they fit perfectly. The elastic panels are ingenious - very flattering but also allow for a good fit for a range of calf sizes, as you can see from other commenters. My calves are average sized but I see comments about good fit from people with large or thin calves. I highly recommend grabbing a pair of these in oxblood at the bargain price!

I love these Cole Haan boots! I had been looking for a great pair of suede boots for a while and when I saw these buy Cole Haan I knew I couldn't pass them up. They are so beautiful! The suede is soft and rich. They are easy to get on/off due to the elastic band and totally comfortable. They look great with a pair of skinnies or leggings, or even with tights and a skirt. They are very flattering and in style and perfect for the winter season. I am normally a size 9, which I bought and fits perfectly. I am so happy I bought these. They are worth every penny!

These were great, but since I'm only 5'1", they hit me in the back of the knee when I sit down. Too bad because they actually fit my huge 18" calves.

Beautiful boot! I have skinny ankles and skinny calves and wanted a boot that didn't bunch around the ankle or have space at the calf. These Cole Haan's unfortunately did both these things so I am returning them.

I have a difficult time finding boots because of my "athletic" calves. These stretch panels along the side are not only fashionable, but stretch to fit my calves with jeans or leggings. The boots are fashionable and extremely comfortable to walk in. I loved them so much I bought a pair in brown suede. Highly recommend.
