A beautiful shoe in black suede from Cole Haan, this pump has the Nike Air technology built in to the shoe. Leather lining and sole and built on a very small platform, this shoe is comfortable if you are used to wearing high heels. It felt a bit short in length (8.5) and a bit narrow in the Medium width for me, but I have a wider foot than most. The toe box does scrunch toes together a bit, but I expect the shoe in suede to stretch a bit. Pricey, yet worth it!

Great comfortable heels -
I just received these today and they are amazingly comfortable on. Unlike other comments, I found them to be true to size, which for me is an 8. I have a medium wide foot with very high arches and they are great! A bit pricey, but so worth it. I need more colors for winter now!

This is my favorite shoe!
I own these in an older brown croc print, and I have 3 pairs in my Zappos shopping cart at the moment! Although I own and like other Nike Air pumps, these are the best.
I find these shoes to be extremely comfortable. It may be true that they are best for a narrower foot, which I have. I find the space in the toe box to be more than sufficient. Arch support is good; the heel height is high enough to be pretty, without causing problems. Although I do have a desk job, I routinely wear the shoes for a couple of hours after work, and have no problem walking or standing for a long time.
FYI, for some reason not clear to me, the open toe version of this shoe is a little more tapered at the toe. For me it wasn't nearly as good a fit.

I read about these and was excited to try them. Unfortunately, the front part of the shoe is quite snug and uncomfortable. I think they would be best for very narrow feet.

Love the padding, could use a bit more room in the toebox -
I mostly wear flats and need a metatarsal support in my shoe but I do love the idea of high heels and really want to wear them. I was thrilled to find these shoes at Zappos in wide (thank you, thank you, thank you) so I took the plunge and ordered them even though they are expensive and I don't really wear heels. They are surprisingly comfortable. My weight is balanced on the heel and the front of the shoe so I don’t feel pitched forward. My foot feels supported through the arch and there is room for my metatarsal cushions. The padding under the ball of my foot feel great too. My toes feel a little squished in the toe box and I wish it was a little more rounded to give my big toe more room. I ordered the 71/2 wides and am glad I did. The heel s are not too wide (like most wide shoes) but the extra width in the front of the shoe is great, I could use more and a rounder toe but other wise this is a beautiful and relatively comfortable high heel.

Wonderful Shoes -
This shoe is well made, very comfortable, and fits great once you have determined the correct size. I found that it ran 1/2 size smaller than my usual size. I'm not sure if that is how Cole Haan shoes run or just this particular style. Other reviewers seemed to discover the same thing. However, when I exchanged and got the right fit, it is a sturdy, but beautiful pair of heels that can take you through hours of wear and walking without pain in the balls of your feet or the toe cramping that so often accompanies high heel wear. These are also very expensive looking shoes---even more so than they cost. They are much better than a few other brands at twice the price. They have the look and feel of about a $500 dollar pair.

I absolutely love Cole Haan Nike Air shoes! They do not need to be broken in at all and can be worn for an entire day the first time. In addition, they are beautiful! The only caution is that I had to buy a half-size larger than normal for this level of comfort. I'd buy them in every color if I could.

Great shoes for any occasion!
I actually ordered the wrong shoe. I meant to order the same shoe but with the open toe (Carma OT). I kept these, even though for me they were a little conservative looking, and did order the open toe one too. Crazy I know. I also have them in black calf leather. The Nike Air in these shoes makes them feel like walking on clouds and I think the addition of the Nike Air makes them feel a half size smaller.
I am normally an 8 or an 8-1/2 in closed pumps and I do have a wide right foot, left is normal. I ordered the 8-1/2C width and at first even the so-called wide shoe felt tight but after wearing it for a little while it adapted perfectly to my foot and they were by far the most comfortable heels I've ever worn. I have bad feet and most shoes kill me....you know, comfortable in store, and killers at home! I will continue to buy the Cole Haan but definitely a half size up from my normal 8's and a wide width if available. In fact, I bought a sling back from them in a regular width and I needed a 9, first time I ever bought that size too. I am inclined to say that Cole Haan shoes run a half size smaller than what you'd normally wear, at least it's my experience.

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable. You can definitely tell there's a platform bottom--it took me a little bit of time to get used to the feel. The heel is just the right height for me. I highly recommend.

Not that comfortable -
I bought these shoes because my boyfriend has some Nike Air shoes that he loves and I thought it would be great to fight the foot fatigue brought on by high heels. Unfortunately these are not that comfortable. Because there is zero arch support and the heel is pretty high, all of your weight is thrust into your toes. No matter how much cushion is down there, it isn't going to help. The style is a little masculine, too - not quite as nice as in the picture.

Sadly, back they go. A gorgeous shoe, but it really isn't a narrow. The heel is too wide, causing the foot to slide forward and pinch.

Cute shoe maybe not for narrow -
I have been wanting to try Cole Haan in a narrow to see if they would fit for some time now. The CH stores ironically typically don't carry the narrows! Zappos of course does. With this style, the AA just wasn't narrow enough for me (my foot is really an AAA). The length fit true to size however: I am a 7 and the 7 was the right length. However, it was not narrow enough in the heel. Attractive shoe however. Perfect for the office and with suits/skirts.

Nice looking, but not worth the money -
The cushioning under the ball of the foot is very comfortable, but I found that the shoe was still uncomfortable, because the shape of the toe box caused a lot of rubbing and blistering along the knuckle of my big toe, and this was not with extensive walking at all!

I usually wear an 11M, sometimes an 11W. This shoe was too narrow and too short for me. There was a good deal of support, though, and the shoe itself is beautiful and well-made.

Amazingly well made and extremely comfortable even w/bunions -
The toe box is stylish; the fit is glove-like. I have bunions and don't find many heels comfortable so this was surprising to me.
If you are accustomed to wearing heels these feel like slippers. If you aren't used to wearing high heels they will feel high, but comfortable on your foot.
Note: This shoe has a low 'profile' - what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't come up high around the heel, the sides or at the toes. You will see 'toe cleavage'. I think it may be the reason why I was unable to keep the shoe on my feet even though it felt very comfortable.

Best shoe ever!
I really love this shoe. I have it in black patent and black calf. I usually have a hard time walking in heels, and these are a dream! Great support, comfortable, functional. I highly recommend. Of course, thanks Zappos! I only purchase shoes from your site!
