These shoes are nothing short of amazing. They look great with chinos or shorts. I have received numerous complements from male and female peers alike. Don't let the steep price tag scare you away. These shoes have the arch support and comfort you would associate with running shoes and stand out in a world full of Sperrys.
Brands I'd also recommend: jack purcell converse, allen edmonds

I purchased the "Air Quincy" and it has been the best purchase every. I own a few Cole Haan shoes and have never been disappointed. These shoes are very comfortable and they look amazing.

First pair was a defect in size, should've known better since it was made in China. Once I got the right size, by far the most comfortable sneaker. Definitely worth the price tag.

Very style-y. Bought both the black and the whiskey. Perfect combination of hip but not too "young skateboarder" like some brands. Great urban casual shoe for any age. Very comfortable. Insole is a bit slick/slippery but they are brand new. Really, very comfortable even on first wear.

These are the best casual shoe I've yet owned. I was initially hesitant to pull the trigger, given the steep cost (by my standards at least), but I'm glad I did. Comfort: fantastic. The Nike Air technology wasn't a selling point when I purchased, but maybe it should have been. I typically see such add-ons and think they're gimmicky, but in this shoe it works terrific. I wear these all day and they're a pleasure. No pressure points, no arch ache issues, etc. Aesthetics: they look incredible with just about anything I'm wearing. I've received many compliments on casual Fridays. I've purchased shoes or clothing that arrived looking different than online, but the photos Zappos has of these are very true to life. I searched Zappos forever to find a shoe that was casual but not too "skateboarder" as another reviewer aptly called it, but at the same time not too traditional/dressy, and these are just the right amount of urban cool. Highly recommend if you can stomach the price tag.

About Cole Haan
Born more than a century ago at the intersection of form and function, Cole Haan has been innovating ever since founder Trafton Cole started making resoleable shoes during the depression. After being bought by Nike in 1988, Cole Haan began introducing footwear with built-in air chambers, utilizing Nike's cutting edge technology to make everything from women's heels to wingtips more comfortable than they'd ever been. Today, the NYC-based brand takes its inspiration from the streets of New York City, offering a range of classic staples with their signature twist—from outerwear and handbags to heels and weekenders—that can stand up to the rigors of the city and still look good.

I have other Cole Haan shoes in size 11 and ordered 11 in these but they were 1/2+ size too big. Re-ordered 10.5 and hope they fit correctly. The shoes look great

These shoes are pricey for sneakers, but I don't regret the cost. I have not worn a pair of casual shoes this comfortable, ever. It feels great to walk around in these. The style is a perfect balance between classic and unique, classy and casual. The material is high quality. This is second pair of Cole Haan sneakers and they are becoming my favorite brand.

Best shoes ever. Very comfortable. Lots of compliments from people who notice shoes (read: women). I think the sizes might run a little large, I had to go a 1/2 size down from what I thought, but no big deal with Zappos!

First off, all my Zappos purchases have arrived very soon. On to the shoes: These are my new favorite sneakers. They look good dressed up or down, although the sole makes them a no-no for traditional business casual. These are my first Cole Haan's, and I am extremely impressed!

These are overpriced arrogantly marketed shoes that are trying to ride in on the outdated and proven terrible Nike Air technology, which even Nike is trying to shake off. In the 1990's most major running/sports shoes manufacturers like Nike with "Air" and Brooks "Hydro Flow" were dumping and jumping ship on what runners already knew to be faulty technology that failed in application as assisting in injury prevention, and was nothing more than a marketing front. Companies such as Saucony and Mizuno who sold stabilizing plate configurations that worked, and Asics Gel technology which stood up to engineering standards were the only ones that in reality worked. At the dawn of the 21st century, the less is more paradigms were the new marketing standard. Large air chambers and sacks containing silicon were sacrificed as quickly as possibly in lieu of weight reductions using unreliable data sets and questionable tests to protect runners and athletes from injury. Race courses across North America and Europe are becoming littered with poorly trained athletes wearing micro weight shoes before their bodies have adapted to the new shoe weight standards being pushed by shoe companies.
Brands I'd also recommend: Asics

I read all the reviews before I purchased. They were all good and decided to spend the money. Worth the purchase. Each time I have worn them I got a nice compliment about them. Tough to wear for work because of the white sole but they are a great looking casual shoe you can feel at home to wear any place. Amazing how comfortable they are. I wear shorts most of the time so I normally wear them with no socks and the comfort is the same as with.
