Born more than a century ago at the intersection of form and function, Cole Haan has been innovating ever since founder Trafton Cole started making resoleable shoes during the depression. After being bought by Nike in 1988, Cole Haan began introducing footwear with built-in air chambers, utilizing Nike's cutting edge technology to make everything from women's heels to wingtips more comfortable than they'd ever been. Today, the NYC-based brand takes its inspiration from the streets of New York City, offering a range of classic staples with their signature twist—from outerwear and handbags to heels and weekenders—that can stand up to the rigors of the city and still look good.

Bought it for my husband. Good quality shoes for the price. He loves it. The only thing to be careful about Cole Haan shoes is that I find their men's shoes run a bit narrow so you need to be careful when trying and picking the right pair.

My husband did not like these. The toes area was rather cramped and long and he didn't care for the fit at all. He didn't like how they looked or felt.

This is a really low quality shoe. Just after a couple of months of use the surface of the shoe has worn out.

I bought this shoe because it was a lot less than in the stores. Not a bad shoe, but not the same model and level of quality as in as the similar shoe in Nordstroms. You still get what you pay for. Zappos had the same Cole Haan model as in Nordstroms, but only a little cheaper than the store, not much of a bargain.
I'd also recommend: Johnston & Murphy
