These shoes are cute. They would be comfortable if they fit. They are extremely wide. I ordered a narrow, but they fit like a wide.

Interesting reading the only other review so far -- and that is, that I ordered a wide, and it is nowhere near wide enough -- my foot hangs off the side the shoe, even sizing up a half-size! (this was true with 4 or 5 different wide styles I ordered this week from Cole Haan! Since almost no stores carry wides, it was a big disappointment, since I had been so relieved to find them on Zappos, and very few fashionable brands offer wides! Funny, that the customer reviewing the narrow says it doesn't fit like a narrow, and my wide doesn't fit like a wide -- maybe Cole Haan doesn't go far enough in making its various widths significantly different from a regular?

These shoes are super comfortable and cute for summer but be careful when walking in them as the base is smaller on the bottom and not as wide as the top. I'm keeping them but this shoe is definitely not for uneven terrain.
Brands I'd also recommend: pliner, sofft, brighton

I have this shoe in two out of the three colors and now back to order the third color. Extremely comfortable and easy to wear from casual to dressy.

I absolutely love these shoes! This is my second pair of Cole Haan shoes and I must say that I am a fan for life. Cole Haan has not let me down. I am a nurse and typically wear Dansko shoes for 12 hours a day and these are nearly as comfortable. I feel as though extremely comfortable is very hard to find in a sandal/thong/slide these days with companies using cheap materials. Particularly, what I love is the soft material of which they are made and the Nike technology within the shoe which provide flexibility and softness. These shoes are truly made for comfort, yet they look chic and nothing like your typical shoe of comfort (like a Dansko shoe). Also of note, I am currently eight months pregnant and have been able to cruise around chasing my five year old and two year old at the park in these without a problem with balance or strain on my feet. If I were to be super critical and pick an area of improvement, I would say that there could be a little more arch support. But having said that, there is not a big enough lack of arch support to cause any problems for me. I give these a full five stars! Also, I noticed other reviewers had issues with sizing of width, etc. I have a normal width. I never have issues with needing narrow or wide, etc. and the regular size 8 B (medium) is perfect. I hope you are as happy with these wonderful shoes as I am! Cole Haan makes awesome shoes!

Comfy and true to size but look a little cheap. If the straps were wider would not have that Payless look about them.
