This is a good looking shoe; the photos don't really do it justice. They look a bit clowny in some of the photos, but the curves are smooth and the leather is really supple. It also comes with a pair of red laces, which add a very welcome touch of color to the mix. However, I do have a few gripes: 1. The back of the shoe cuts into my heel a bit - well not a bit; it wore through the sock and made the back of my ankle bleed. Easily fixed with some taped on foam, but for the price of this shoe you think something like that would be taken care of. 2. The heel wears away a bit, quickly exposing the metal nails that were used to attach the heel to the shoe. By rubbing my heel back and forth on the floor I've been able to scrape up hardwood floors and tiles in my home. 3. This "Nike Air" business doesn't do much. While my heel may be comfortable, every other part of my foot is aching half way through the day. So you may need to buy some inserts as well. Overall, I think it's a bit cheaply made and might only be worth the price because not many other manufacturers have shoes in this category that look this good. (I think Frye might have a pair for a similar price. Check them out.) Also, I got these at a discount, but I would not pay full price for them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Frye, Allen Edmonds, To Boot NY

I really like the classic styling of this shoe. However, I'm disappointed with the quality of the heel's sole. The leather on the heel's sole wore through to the nails after one day of wearing them. So far it seems to be the one true flaw in the making of this shoe. I equate this to poor quality materials. I contacted Cole Haan directly and they offered to ship the shoe to one of their facilities for a quality inspection. If they determined that there was a flaw in the workmanship, they would refund the current price of the shoes. This would have taken 3-4 weeks and there was no guarantee that they would consider this a flaw. I took the shoes to a repair shop and had the split leather heel replaced with a solid rubber heel and all is well with the world. A great shoe, but plan on spending the extra money ($15) to replace the heel.

So these are great looking shoes, but the soles disintegrate pretty rapidly. I've owned these shoes for about 6 months now. In that time I've gone to the shoe repair twice. The first time, I replaced the heel which rapidly wore down to exposed nails. The second time I hit the front of the shoe into an object and the particle board sole crumbled. I've ended up re-soling with real leather which seems to be the ultimate solution for me.

Awesome color and very comfortable. Came with red and brown laces, I chose red and haven't looked back. True to size...little stiff at first like most leather oxfords, but have broken in nicely thus far. Saved a lot compared to Nordstrom price. Only minor complaint, heel is a little thicker than I prefer, but with time is wearing in fine.

I've had these shoes for about 2 months and I couldn't be happier. I stuck with the red laces and get compliments everywhere I go (office or casual dress). To take it a step further, I wear these most of the time without socks (to add to the summer feel) and they still remain one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. This is a great shoe overall and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a spring/summer shoe that can be dressed up in the office during the week and then turned casual with some jeans on the weekend.

Very nice looking shoe, especially with the red laces. But they were very (painfully) narrow on me. I typically wear a medium width, and that's what I ordered. I sent this pair back and hope to try a pair a little wider. Will report back!
