Almost a decade ago, the Coal® brand name was created in Portland, Oregon in a small apartment where the founders were inspired by family and friends and influenced by other great, forward-thinking brands. Their passion was the belief that headwear was more than just something to keep your head warm, more than just a simple accessory. The desire to put the customer and a signature look first, above everything else, is what fuels the brand today.

Coal designs caps, beanies, gloves and scarves that are still inspired by the same culture of art, skate, and snowboarding that has always motivated them to make the best products possible.
