I've been using this water bottle regularly for about a year now and can honestly say this is easily the best water bottle I've ever used and is worth the money. I originally was using the .75 ml plastic Eddy bottle which was great but I was looking for a replacement that was a tad more narrow so I could actually place it in standard cup holders and something that could resist impacts better. This stainless steel version perfectly fit the bill. Camelbak will forever be my go-to for hydration products. My ONLY complaint with this water bottle (along with every other camelbak bottle I've used) is that even though the the bite valve is resistant to leaking, the actual product isn't. The corkscrew tracking in which the lid twists on allows water to channel through it and if the bottle is laid horizontally, there tends to be some leaking from time to time. Again, this is the only complaint and I assume this could happen to any water bottle with a twist off opening. Other than that, perfect.

These pants/capris/shorts/whatever are ridiculously comfortable, true-to-size, and they seem to be made pretty well. They're made of fabric that has a slight amount of stretch, although they aren't made of yoga pant material, or anything like that; the texture of the material is actually a little rough. I am about 5'8", and I usually take a 33" or 34" waist in jeans. That said, a size L fits me properly, I think. They fall probably 6" above the ankle...so just below my calf muscles when I'm standing up. That said...and if you're even entertaining the idea of buying these you probably know this...they aren't for guys who care about what other people think. Put it this way...I split time between the New York metro area and the Philadelphia metro area, and maybe it's just my own insecurities at work here, but I swear people give me weird looks in the Philadelphia area when I wear these. In contrast, nobody in the New York area seems to think there's anything odd about a dude in capris. Of course, I can wear these in rock climbing gyms in any metro area and get zero odd looks, because chances are, there are one or two other guys climbing in capris...and these are good for climbing, by the way. They allow for good range of motion, protect the knees against scuffs, and seem to hold up to abrasive surfaces pretty well. If you're toying with the idea of something longer than shorts, but shorter than pants, and you think that these might be a little too out there for you, try the Kuhl Krux. They come below the knee, but do not clear the entire upper calf muscle, as these do.
  • Marmot by Women's Laura L/S Posted: May 20, 2013 Reviewer: from Poland, Ohio Overall: 4 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 5 Stars
Although I still can't believe I spent this much on a top like this, overall I am happy. It is very comfortable, really nicely constructed, and versatile. I would rather invest more money is good quality travel and hiking clothes that will wash well (sometimes in a sink) than get buy cheaper items. Quality over quantity and Marmot is always good quality. If wondering about sizing, I am 5'8', 125 lbs, and the XS fit well although the sleeves were barely long enough when unrolled.
