Overall:

A little big.I have to agree with a previous writer who stated in a size 5, the shoe is a half size too big. The heel definitely slips. I need to wear thick socks with these shoes. The shoes do offer a great deal of cushioning and are very comfortable. The red/burgundy color is very nice, more like an apple red.

These shoes are heaven for my feet. I don\'t think they are particularly attractive but my feet love them. I am on my feet practically all day and these shoes are very comfortable. I highly recommend them.

This is a comfortable shoe considering it is a heel. Good support, true to size. Pictured accurately (for the brown suede). Considering that I have neuropathy in my feet (nerve damage) and I find this shoe relatively comfortable, others would probably find it exceedingly comfortable for a heel. Quality appearance, materials and fabrication.

Love these shoes! They are so comfortable and so darn cute! I've gotten compliments from everyone, even total strangers. If you want comfort and style without breaking the bank, then go with these shoes!

These shoes are too cute, fit fine with no breaking in (right out of the box), and to top it off, were delivered rather quickly. Zappos makes so many styles available that I would otherwise have no access to, a real bonus. I almost wish I maybe hadn\'t found Zappos because I have been busy buying since I have!

I love the look of these boots, but, wow, they run small! I have had many pairs of Clarks and always wear an 11, but no way in these. Bummed!

Nice soft leather. The tight fit around the calf is awesome. No gapping which is what I was going after. That said, you have to be willing to shimmy your foot into the boot because there is not a zipper up the side. Not a big deal because I wanted a sleek fit anyway.

I was excited to try these shoes as I have a true extra wide foot (measured at a shoe store that specializes in hard to fit feet, I am EE width), I also have a very high arch. I could barely fasten the velcro straps over my toes due to the width of my foot and my high arch, but the length was perfect. I worried that it would come unfastened with any walking. I might have kept them and hoped that the leather would stretch and they wouldn't hurt, except it felt like there was something hard within the shoe under the heel area, like standing or walking on a large rock. Very painful. That was a deal breaker for me, and I have no heel problems, bone spurs or anything like that, never have had that problem with any other shoes. If you have a plain old wide foot, or an extra wide but a normal arch, they would probably fit just fine, but if you are a true extra wide with the high arch, forget it. Saw that a few people mentioned heel problems; wonder if what I experienced is what they meant.

These clogs have the classic Clarks footbed which I was confident in ordering without trying on. I wear a size 10 and they fit perfectly. The inside top of the shoe is also cushioned for a snug, comfortable feel as opposed to clogs that rattle around on your feet. They would probably not fit someone with a wider width foot. I\'m medium width and they\'re not at all tight, but there isn\'t any extra room. I would recommend these shoes very highly. I got the reddish color and it\'s gorgeous, like cherry furniture, not too red.

I've always been a fan of lace up "granny" style boots and am so happy they are back in vogue. While I wish I could find a pair that don't have zippers, I do accept the fact that they make life a whole lot easier (especially if you have to deal with airport security). These boots are great. The heel is stacked so it provides a lot of stability, but a little slimmer than Clarks style for the past few years so it makes them look a little nicer. Plenty of room for a lightweight sock if you want. Decent but not fantastic padding is my only complaint. I've had the black version for about a month and wear them with everything. They have become my new favorite boot.

I absolutely love my new shoes. I had tried to buy them at Macy's but they didn't have my size. I came home and checked Zappos. I ordered these shoes. Not only are they great shoes, but I selected regular shipping. I ordered the shoes on a Wednesday night, and when I got home from work the next day, they were at my front door! I was amazed! Zappos is the only way to buy shoes!

First of all the service as always was excellent. The shoes are very comfortable with no break in time needed. The style is cute. I have a wide foot and did not need to order a C width. They fit fine.

I love these shoes! I have been looking for a wide width shoe with a small heel for a long time. They are so comfortable and the leather is so soft. The shoes are cushioned throughout. They are worth the money. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who wants great quality and comfort.

Love these shoes! Bought these for a recent trip to Italy, where I knew I would be walking a lot all over Rome. I didn't have time to break them in, and it didn't matter. They felt great! Looked good with both jeans and casual pants.

This is the best boot I have ever owned. They are nice, light and still durable enough to provide some warmth in the winter. They will be perfect for the hot days in summer, here in Texas. I am so used to boots be clunky and these are the perfect solution. Plus, they look cool with anything. You can dress them up or down. You can't lose.

Very comfortable boot. I have difficulty finding comfortable footwear and am on my feet all day. These boots are comfortable right from the start, no need to "break them in". And as always, Zappos service and delivery are superb. I'd recommend the boots and Zappos to anyone.

This the most wonderful shoe that Clark has come up with. I stand on my feet all day at work. You can get this shoe in the mail today and then try them on. Wear them all day and your feet will not hurt. Thanks for Zappos making them available to purchase.

These boots had a lot of what I was looking for, but they didn't fit the bill. What I love is that they are so so soft inside and the leather is not stiff at all. The shape of the boot is sophisticated, and there is moderate arch support. But I have medium sized calves and these boots were a little too loose at the top, and especially loose at the ankle. These boots may work well with jeans, but I want a tight fitting boot that I can wear with skirts and dresses. The leather is somewhat textured up close rather than smooth and sleek. Finally, even though the arch support is decent, I can feel after just a few minutes that these boots put way too much pressure on the front of my foot. My big toe was hurting soon after I put them on. They felt true to size.

Shoe looks just as it does in the picture. I found the front, from the arch forward, too narrow for my foot. It might be good for people with a narrower foot than mine (I ordered an 8.5 M).

This shoe is so comfortable. Not the best looking shoe around, but you won't find much this comfortable. The inside is completely smooth, no seams! Runs a tad small so I would size up 1/2 size.

Love them! I bought the Bettylou in the brown nubuck and love them! They are very comfortable. I wear a larger size (10) and they do not make my feet look huge.

Love the shoes, but have to return them. I ordered a size 5, but they are too big. I feel that they are not true to size, at least a half size bigger than the quoted size. I would have to get size 4 1/2, but they aren't available in that size.

I ordered these shoes to wear to work, and they fit the bill just right. I needed something not too dressy, not to casual, that could be worn with jeans or slacks, and with a small heel. These are a little snug along the sides of my foot, but not at all uncomfortable. I wore them all day the first day I received them and felt no discomfort at all. They look snazzy, a bit like a boot (because of the seam up the center), and I\'ve received several compliments. Of course, they\'re Clarks, so they are very well made.

When first receiving the shoes, I thought, oh no these don't fit either. But after taking out the insole to make room for my orthopedics, they fit fine. Even make my size 11W feet look smaller. These fit like comfy tennies, but look dressier. They do slide up and down a little on my skinny ankles, but not enough to bother me. The finish is first rate. Would definitely buy these again.
