I bought these shoes for my husband and they go great with a business casual look with black pants and also they work great with jeans. He has wide feet so we ordered the wide sizing and they fit very well. Per my husband they are super comfortable and he is on his feet most of the day. These are his new fav shoes!Read more » « Show less October 24, 2010 by Beth S

This is my second pair of the Wave.Tract. My experience with the first was very good. Unfortunately, that is not the case with the second pair. Overall construction is good. The sole does tend to wear a bit fast as compared to other walking shoes. Perhaps a softer sole material. Leather uppers wear extremely well. Size is true although my second pair required a day on the foot before they felt as comfortable as my original pair. When I tried on my first pair I was impressed by the fit right off the bat and not the case with the second pair but they did improve and met expectations. My complaint with the second pair is that after about 5 weeks of use - including a daily 2 mi. walk on asphalt and concrete - the right shoe began to squeak with each step. Very annoying as it is audible. My guess is that the construction was good enough to pass inspection but ultimately defective. Other factors may be lesser material, less attention to detail, or lack of quality control. I don't know but I will likely try a different option next time.Read more » « Show less January 9, 2012 by Terry W

I pinched a nerve in my knee, and as a side effect, my foot tingles and hurts with the slightest pressure. The Doctor recommended trying some wide sized shoes. Without lots of cash to toss around, I really did my homework before buying the Clarks and now couldn't be happier: my foot doesn't tingle or hurt when walking! My feet aren't really a size 'wide', so wearing my thicker socks is a must, but no big deal at all. Was sad having to put away the Doc Martens, but thankfully these Clarks look pretty cool and they truly are comfortable. Will definitely be buying Clarks again.

Very stylish, appropriate for business and casual wear, and extremely comfortable even in a wide size. One of the few brands outside of Rockport that sell wide shoes that fit my feet, so I'll be looking for more from Clarks in the future.

I purchased the Clarke Waves' based on others reviews and they are a terrific shoe. They are so comfortable. I was always getting a cramp in my foot and since I've bought they it was gone away. They are great shoes and I will buy again when they wear out. A plus is that I can wear them for work (standing a lot) and casual. They are just perfect!
