The only problem I have with this boot is that it can stain your white socks brown; must have something to do with the leather. Nevertheless, this is a great shoe. It's completely replaced my trusty, several year old pair of sneakers as my every day, walking around footwear. There's no chafing, no pinching, no discomfort whatsoever. I highly recommend it.

Amazingly comfortable - between walking from the train to the office and back and to the gym and back at lunch, I total about 4 miles a day. These shoes make it easy and are especially great for the winter months as they are pretty much waterproof (can be made even more so with some mink oil). One tip: I would say they run 1/2 to 1 full size big. I usually wear a 10 and got these in a 9.5. I get the feeling I could have gone all the way to 9 with no problem.

Greatest Shoe Ever Made - I'm supremely convinced that the Clarks Wallabee is the most comfortable shoe on the market today. No doubt it’s been held in high regards for some 30 years now but I just started wearing them a few years ago. I have the oil brown leather ones for colder occasions and they are remarkably soft. The only thing that might add to the comfort is a Dr. Scholl's footbed (which I added to mine and highly recommend!) to give a little extra arch support and cushioning. Wallabees are plain, simple, and extremely comfortable. I've had my sand ones for about 17 months and they are doing better than when I first wore them. Great shoes.

New Favorite! Clarks Wallabees are my new favorite boots! I have been an avid Keen wearer for many years but after recently wearing a hole in the sole (after 3 1/2 years) I decided to try something new. I love the look of these boots, the soles are gooey and comfy, and the quality is great! It's a pricey investment, but totally worth it. It may be a good idea to try a little smaller size. The leather wears in nicely, but it also takes away some of the support.
Other Brands Recommended by Reviewer: I do enjoy the Keens quite a little bit.

Wallabee Revealed - The shoe is fine for the most part. It felt just a bit wobbly when I first put it on and walked around. The gum sole gets dirty very quickly, so appearance may take a turn soon. Nonetheless the comfort is great for an all around shoe that will guarantee your feet feel awesome. I would buy again, but maybe the suede version.

What was I waiting for - Hey guys! These boots are amazing. Stylish, tough and comfortable. From the moment I put them on I knew they were a good investment and for some reason girls really dig 'em. Never before have I had so many compliments on my footwear. Go for it. They make perfect sense.

My husband loves the shoes! I got these shoes for my husband for Christmas, and so far he really loves them, and thinks that these are the most comfortable casual shoes he has had. As mentioned by other reviewers, the shoes are a half-size too big, so I got 1/5 size down and they fit perfectly!

Best Comfort Shoe - I worked for Clarks during my high school and college years and these shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I've tried Ecco, Timberland, Dr. Martens, and they're all great brands for comfort and durability. But this shoe is literally more comfortable than going bare foot. Clarks discovered years ago, like other shoe companies, that a shoe’s outsole is just as important as the insole. A softer outsole buffs shock and the crepe sole of Wallabees is the best I've seen. I hope these shoes are always on the market.

Pretty satisfied - The shoe is very comfortable, but is larger than I expected (I wrote 1/2 larger, but for all I know it could be 1 whole size). I like the look, but the rubber sole looks like it will get dirty earlier and it looks a little corny.

4th Pair! It seems as though I get about three solid years out of each pair of Clarks. I love the Wallabees--I always say, "They were good enough for my dad in the sixties, then they're fine for me today!"

Very comfortable, surprisingly heavy - Bought these shoes in a nostalgic mood, I guess. I was in high school when they were introduced and, for a minute, the suede version was the shoe to have. I was having a little trouble with a big toe and wanted a roomy shoe for comfort. These really did the trick. Started wearing them and the toe stopped hurting in a week or two. So these shoes are very comfortable and I like the way they look. I am happy to wear them and will buy more when they wear out. A couple of things; they are surprisingly heavy. I usually wear New Balance shoes and these seem to weigh about 3 times as much. I got the "oiled" dark brown color and my white sox get brown by the end of the day. I figure this will go away after a while. I've gotten some brown/black sox. I wear a big 13 size, like 13 1/2. Some shoes I have to buy 14s but these size 13s feel just right.

Pure comfort - I recently accepted a job that required standing on my feet for 8 hours. I experienced burning and heel pain in both feet the very first day. Within 3 weeks I had tried 4 different pairs of shoes, boots, and walkers. None of them, including the gel insoles I purchased, gave me the relief I sought. This is the third pair of Wallabees for me. The soles of my last pair are worn down at the heels, so I only use them for yard work. But I decided to wear them to work one day. Remarkably, whatever magic is sewn into Wallabees, I made it through the work day in comfort. This prompted me to purchase my third pair. The craftsmanship and comfort are second to none.

Really oily!!! Great shoes, I'm in my third pair of Wallabee's. There is a bit of a problem with the oily leather, do not wear white socks with them, they'll be stained forever. However, that is a very small price to pay for otherwise really good and comfortable shoes!!

Wallabees are great - I bought these shoes for my husband for Christmas. He usually wears the suede but got the brown leather this time. He loves them - says they are the most comfortable shoes he has worn (he is on his feet all day) and retires them to be work shoes when he gets new ones.

Not for weak ankles- I bought the oily leather. I love the shoe but there is only one problem, and it is a big one. Clarks should make the crepe sole wider- the leather stretches and then has a tendency to stretch out over the sole. You can easily turn your ankle. It could be easily fixed if Clarks would just make the sole larger/wider. Other than that it is a great, comfortable shoe.

Comfortable from the first step - I have never had any contact with Clarks before and so I was a bit apprehensive of buying a pair. I mean, these shoes are kind of strange looking so you don't think at first that they would be comfortable. So I was greatly delighted when these shoes ended up being comfortable right out of the box. No brake in time needed and it actually feels more cushioned than most of my other shoes. So for someone considering checking these out, just buy them, I think you'll like them a lot.

Leather Wallabee Boot - This boot's leather has a much redder look than in the picture (where it looks kinda greenish). Not a true dark brown - more of a milk chocolate. Also starts to show wear quickly.

Clarks Wallabees - This is the second pair of Wallabees my child has ordered. The shoe is outstanding and your delivery policy is fantastic. Shoe tends to run a half size bigger than needed so downsize from you normal size.
