I recently had a gout attack in my big toe, needed a wide slip on shoe. I ordered the Clark slip on & they fit great, no break in needed. I've had these for 2 months now & the longer I wear them, the better they feel. I also ordered the Olive color, & ordered a 2nd pair of the tan Vestal (for future use). Zappos shipping is great, usually next day delivery. Thanks.

This is an excellent casual shoe. It fit perfectly and did not require any break-in. The sole has good traction, even on wet sidewalks. There is adequate cushion without feeling too soft.

My husband has wide feet and can never find shoes that fit and look youthful. These fit him perfectly. He ordered a 1/2 size larger. Nice looking shoes--actually nicer in person than in the picture.
Brands I'd also recommend: timberland w--if availabe.

I just purchased a pair of these in Navy Blue and they are definitely my new favorite casual warm-weather shoes. My feet are a bit on the wide side and these fit really well. They are very comfortable right out of the box and have great traction on both wet and dry surfaces with a soft and flexible outer sole. Whether worn with pants or shorts, socks or not, they look great; I will likely by another pair in tan. Agreeing with another reviewer, the picture does the shoe no justice. The only thing I'm at all concerned about is how the elasticity of the Gore inserts hold up over time. Still, these are excellent shoes and I hope Clarks continues to manufacture them, or at least something similar.

I like Clark's because they are narrow in the heel but wide toe box. These are a little stiffer than a similar pair I have, but they are as expected, comfortable. My wife, however, says they look a little doughty. I disagree.

Got these for my husband. I was always looking for a shoe he could just slip on quick and have some support, they do and they look good with shorts and pants. He has a very high instep and wide foot. So hard to find! He wears these all the time!

I purchased the Vestal for my son. He has wide feet and said these shoes are very comfortable. The sole did start to come unglued, but my son wanted the exact same pair due to the comfort. Zappos was awesome and sent a new pair in just a few days. Thanks for the excellent customer service Zappos!

Very comfortable shoes. Lightweight, easy to slip on, soft comfy sole. They breath really well. No negatives so far. I wear these to work regularly for ten hour days and my feet are happy!
