I've been purchasing Clarks 10 1/2 wide shoes for the last 13 years. They are (or were) the only brand I trusted to purchase online. These shoes look really nice, but they're too narrow and too low; they don't even seem like Clarks shoes in their fit and comfort. They cause a lot of pain in my feet, and the shoe laces don't even close.

These are pricey but so far great shoes. They're very comfortable and look really stylish. They have just enough tennis shoe cross over styling to look good with jeans but not so much that they cannot be worn to work with khakis and a button down shirt.
Brands I'd also recommend: Merrel, Bostonian, Timberland

I am really disappointed in these shoes. The base padding is very uncomfortable. I usually love Clarks' shoes, but cannot wear these. I tried buying gel inserts and even they could not compensate.
