I've worn a lot of canvas shoes and these are for sure the most comfortable of any in the past. I've had Vans, Chuck Taylors, Tretorns and for comfort nothing close. Right out of the box I wore them all day, no foot problems or blisters. They have a cool retro look like the Vans. Like all Clarks, the cushioning is in the sole, and this shoe rivals all the Clarks shoes. The insole can come out and be replaced easily and they're made to wear barefoot as well. The sizing is big like Clarks Originals. I wear a 10 in Wallabees and the same applies for these shoes. In Vans classics I wear a 10.5, so they're definitely a size larger than what you normally wear (I wear an 11.5 in Nike running shoes).
