When I first tried on the shoes, they felt terrific. However, as I walked around in them a few more minutes they became instruments of torture. The opening at the top opf the foot rubbed terribly. I will be returning them.

I absolutely love these shoes! I get lots of compliments and they fit like a glove. They have enough support and feel like you are walking on air.

These mary janes are super cute and comfortable!! I love the heel height, yet they still are very comfortable. Excellent quality. I highly recommend these. The fit is absolutely perfect!

Passion of the Clark's - Wonderful from the first moment I stepped out in them. As an educator, I rarely sit down, and these shoes allow me to look professional and feel comfortable at the same time. Better still, I am able to proctor tests and not have the horrible clacking heel sound as these are virtually soundless.

I love these shoes! These shoes are comfortable due to the cushioning inside, but I was surprised that the wide width didn't seem wide enough. I tried them on with jeans, boot-cut leggings and twill pants and they look really nice. I can't wait to wear them with tasteful (above the knee) skirts, because I know they'll look great. They can be worn with or without stockings, for those of us who love our legs. I ordered these in black in a 9 1/2 wide. I did have to break them in a little, because the shoe pressed against the top of my foot (width-wise). I put a pair of socks on and walked around the house in them to break them in. Now, they're perfectly broken-in. It's a good thing these shoes have great cushioning inside, because otherwise I know I wouldn't be able to wear them. It's nice that the straps are adjustable, also. I've always wanted a pair of Mary Jane's, but never got around to buying any. Clarks makes some of the best quality shoes in the business. Thanks Zappos, for your quick, free 1 day shipping!

This is the first time to order shoes from Zappos. I was kind of nervous waiting for the shoes to arrive; would they fit? Would they look the same in person as they did on the web site? Yes to both questions. I love these shoes! They look great with jeans! I would have given these shoes 5 stars all the way, but I do have one problem. I have a bunion and the shoe sits close enough to it to aggravate it. I got a little moleskin to pad that and I'm good to go!

A friend of mine recommended Clark shoes. I will be attending a training event in January and was looking for shoes that would allow me to be on my feet for long periods of time. I\'ve been wearing them to church and to work and so far I love them.

The toe bed is very cushy! I could have gone dancing or spent the day out shopping. They are easy to walk in too, and they look sexy with a pair of jeans.

I love this shoe! I am tall and have large wide feet (11D) so finding shoes that feel good is very hard. These shoes are so comfortable that I don\'t even notice I am wearing heels! I wore them to a party in San Francisco and my feet didn\'t hurt at all. Love this shoe, so happy!

Very comfortable. I'm on my feet 9 hours and always wear Dansko, "which are awesome," but wanted to try other styles with higher heels. These shoes felt broke in right out of the box. They honestly get more comfortable as the day goes on. Very stable. The no-slip bottoms are great in this climate. I didn't have the problem as in other reviews with the top of the shoe cutting in the top of my foot. I'm picky about Arch support and these pass. I'm an 8-8 1/2 and ordered an 8. They are fine, but I don't have a wide foot. I hope they last as long as my Danskos do.

I love this shoe. It looks good with skirts, dresses, and pants. It is very comfortable and even with the height I can walk in them all day. I wear an 8 1/2 wide and they were true to size. They are nice and roomy.

I love these shoes. They feel great and I think they look great! I get lots of compliments when I wear them. I need the height of a heel, but I don't like to wear heels, so this was the perfect solution: a shoe with a heel that feels like one that doesn't have one!

Love these shoes! Chunky, retro, and stylish. I wear them with dress pants, jeans (with colorful socks peeking out), and some skirts. Very comfortable - I am a fan of Clarks. Other shoes do have more arch support, but Clarks is always adequate. I wear a 5.5-6W, bought a 6W and am pleased with the fit. (Though I do wish a 5.5W was available to try.) As always, Zappos service has been superb!

These shoes are the most comfortable mid heel shoe that I have ever worn. They do not require any breaking in. As soon as I put them on it felt like they were custom made for my feet! I am an educator, so I am on my feet a lot during the day and I do a lot of walking. These shoes are true to size. Zappos is marvelous! They ship faster than the Clarks store.

For the first half of 2009, Clarks Marilla was my go-to shoe. I could wear them all day. They were as comfortable as sneakers. When Clarks Passion came along, I ordered them immediately. The chunky heel Mary Jane styling are very similar, but the wider straps of the Passion look better to me. I usually wear a 12B, but these were just too small. I could squeeze into them, but they were far from comfortable. Sadly, I had to return them.
