They rock! Wanted a solid, open-toed sandal with a strong heel strap. Still needed to be easy on, and these are. Highly recommended!

Extremely comfortable shoes. Look great. I really like them. Seem durable, but time will tell. Sizing is an issue. I generally wear a 9-10 in Clarks. These I had to get in a size 8 to fit me right. They run very big. I don't wear an 8 in any other shoe.

My husband loves these sandals! They are so comfortable for him to wear all day. The style makes them a bit 'dressier' than normal sandals which is great. This is my husband's second pair. They do run a little big. He always wears a size 10, but we had to order a size 9.

I like the sandals; however, they run huge! I normally wear a 9 or 9.5, but I have them in 8 and they still feel about a half size too large. If I was in a store I would have actually tried a 7. Don't know where they got their sizing for these. Again, I like the sandals, just have to experiment with the size.

I have been buying Clark\'s Sandals for many years now. The fit, comfort and durability of these outstanding sandals are everything you want in a sandal, and they look GREAT!! My last pair, which I still have were bought in 2002, seven years!! Of which I wore those sandals almost every day. That\'s a lot of wear and tear from somebody like me. Now I use them for a spare when gardening, and getting dirty, and my new pair for getting out and looking good!

Wide foot with high instep - ordering second pair - I just ordered my second pair of Merrimacks. My old ones are about four years old. I hadn't ever had sandals other than flip-flops because I am so hard to fit – 12 1/2 5E with a high instep. I bought my first pair at a store and have always loved them. Only problem with the old ones is that the soles are starting to separate. Being the cheapo that I am, I tried fixing them with Liquid Nail and furniture clamps. No luck. Very short break-in period. I live in Florida, so I wear them from March through October, and sometimes even longer. They're my favorite shoes! I can't go to Disney without them. Standing in line in any other shoe kills me. When I went to order today, I was startled to see that my old ones were an 11M. I was afraid that that was a European size, or something, and didn't know what to order. I ordered the 11M and the other reviews confirm that it is correct. They're worth the money. Or maybe even more.

Best ever - I bought my first pair in 2004 before I traveled through Europe during a hot summer. I will be retiring them this summer 2008! Four years these shoes brought me comfort, durability, and style. I will be ordering my next pair tomorrow. Can't wait for them to arrive!

Merrimack - I ordered these for my dad, who's 91. They fit him, they were comfortable, looked nice, and were sturdy on his feet. He likes them a lot.

Excellent sandals - Well made and comfortable. I expect them to last for years. My only beef is sizing. I normally wear 8 1/2 or 9. Based on the comments I ordered down to 8. They were huge! So I returned them and ordered 7. Size seven works but just barely. The adjustment strap is tightened all the way to fit me and there's plenty of room. A 6 would probably fit better but 7 is OK and I needed sandals. Once you need to order down three sizes, you have to wonder if they paid any attention at all to standard sizing in manufacturing these sandals.
