The Escalade is most certainly the most comfortable office shoe I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. Both easy to take on and off, the shoe also conforms to my foot in a way that I can just forget that it's even there, which is one of the highest compliments I can give a shoe. If you need comfort and an excellent style, look no further.

I really wanted to like these shoes and for about 3 months I did. Unfortunately they have a serious manufacturing defect. The "Clark's" badge on the outer sole creates a weak spot that easily cracks and lets water into the shoe. Once it started raining regularly I quickly noticed this problem. Walking over even moderately wet pavement will result in the shoe soaking up water and getting your feet wet. I wish I could say that it was just my pair, but I have a colleague that also has these shoes and he is experiencing the same issue. A call to Clark's will you get you a quick, free replacement, but I recommend staying away from the Escalade until the defect is fixed.

These shoes were comfortable, but they just looked and seemed cheap. If they were $50 shoes they might be fine, but they aren't. I thought the pictures looked nice, but when I got them in my hand they just looked and felt "plasticy"and cheap. If what matters is comfort and not appearance, these might work fine, but based on the feel, I really don't think they'd last long/wear well either. Spend a little more money on a real quality shoe, you can find plenty of great shoes for just a little more.

Wow! First time I've used Zappos and the experience could not have been better. Shoes fit and wear extremely well. Shipping was fast and packaging was first class. I may never buy another pair of shoes in a store or at the mall.

This is the third pair of Clarks shoes I've owned and all three pairs have been the most comfortable and durable shoes I've ever owned.

I had the shoes delivered to my work and as soon as I received them I put them on and didn't want to take them off. I found them to be very comfortable! I like the style and texture. Some of the reviews talk about being too shiny for jeans but I think the shine is perfect for casual wear too. The size felt a half size too big but still very comfortable.

As soon as I put these on in the store, I knew I had to have them. Easily the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Seriously, they're like butter. Easy slip on/off. My only regret is my own fault: I did not apply the proper protection and they are now stained from something I spilled on them. I will buy the Escalades again.
I'd also recommend: Any Clarks shoe
