Love the shoe bad!!! I accidentally discovered Zappos.com in January 2005 and I have been addicted since then. I have bought approximately 18 pairs of shoes for my family. I have no regrets. With regards the Clarks Escalade what can I say they are Clarks. Contemporary and extremely comfortable. When I buy the Brand Clarks's I know what to expect. I love the speed of Zappos.

Better than I even expected - These Escalades look even better than in the website pictures. They are sharp with Dockers or my suit. I hadn't been at work for a half-hour when I got the first compliment. The classic Clark's comfort did not let me down either in this version. After a year of heel spur recovery from wearing cheap shoes with poor arch support, I now wear nothing other than Clark's for dress and casual shoes. The fit was perfect, and they broke in after about 2 days of casual wear. Zappo's delivery was great too - 2 days to my doorstep. This was the second pair of Clark's shoes I've purchased from Zappos.

Great Business Comfortable - With flat feet, and owing to the fact that I am on my feet all day, I need good arch support. The Escalade provides it nicely. I am also pleased with the overall look of the shoe. It is dressy enough to wear with a suit and not attract undue attention, but the top stitching and sole make it appropriate for casual Fridays as well. I love this shoe.

Very comfortable -- just a slight caveat - True-to-size, nice looking and so forth. In person, the shoes appear slightly slimmer than I think they look in the photographs, and the rim of the sole (circling the body of the shoe) juts out a bit farther than I could tell before purchasing. If anything else, they're somewhat shinier and smoother than I expected. To each his own, when it comes to the visual, but the comfort is a sure thing. "Thank you"

Great shoe, not too dressy but cool and classy - With boot bottom jeans this shoe looks like it could be a cowboy or biker boot. These shoes are very comfortable. I wear them to work with dress pants and out and about with jeans, etc. The brown ones are my favorite. When new they are snug but loosen up and break in real nicely. They easily slip on and off and hold up well.

Most Comfortable - I bought one in 2005 and wore it every week. A year later, I tried other styles by Clarks, but none of them were as comfortable and fitting right out of the box. These are the most comfortable shoes (excluding sneakers and sandals) that I have ever experienced!

Great Shoe - This is the first shoe I have ever purchased that needed no break in period. They were extremely comfortable from the minute I put them on. I wore them all day and into the evening. Every shoe should be this comfortable.

Comfort and Style!!!! I purchased this show at a local department store. I needed a durable, comfortable and stylish shoe for work. I was so impressed with this shoe that I wanted a replacement pair (for the future). I tried for one month to obtain this shoe at the department store...without success. Then I tried Clark’s website which brought me into Zappos.com! Zappos.com is absolutely great! I cannot recommend Zappos.com enough.

Corporate Running Shoes - I travel weekly through airports and different cities every week. This shoe is like a tennis shoe disguised as a dress shoe. I have even worn it with Tuxedo and did not feel out of place. Excellent for sliding on and off through security lines with no laces. The removable insole is great too. I highly recommend it to the road warrior. I love my Johnston Murphy's but have traded in my Kilty Tassels for the Escalade! This was my first Zappos purchase and I am now a Raving Fan!! -DM

Shiny! These are super comfortable, but they are much more shiny than the picture shows. It's OK though because they feel great, more like running shoes and pretty light. They seem a little loose for a 10 ½, but maybe because they are slip-ons.

Clarks shoes - There were no surprises for me in this purchase. I have a high instep, and a foot that has been called 'fat.' I have other Clarks shoes, much like what I purchased here, so I was quite confident in the size and style that I selected.
