Great, versatile shoe for an urban/worker look. Super cute cuffed with straight or skinny jeans. Wide toe box, narrow heel to hold foot in place but let toes spread as your foot strikes the ground. If you have high arches, there's not much support and the shoe has a short vertical rise, so you might be uncomfortable. I wear a women's 10.5 to 11 (41-42), depending on the style, and I took a US men's 8. Fit is comfortably snug but I've had other Clarks classics and the leather will break in perfectly. Zappos shipping is so fast it's scary. Ordered these from my laptop on the couch last night during prime time, and they were on my porch before 10 AM!
I'd also recommend: Camper, Blundstone, Birkenstock, Vans, Frye

Super cool shoes. In the colder months of the year, I wear Clarks zip up boots. I wanted something more summery and comfortable for hot SC days. They look great with a pair of jeans. I have not been bold enough to wear them with shorts yet but we'll see where this summer takes me.

The Desert Trek are a great all around shoe, so far I've put these to the test by hiking through rugged uphill/downhill terrain like Pinnacles, Yosemite & Big Sur & I am very pleased with their performance & comfort. The sole feels grippy & sturdy enough to confidently trek up a steep granite slopes and very comfortable. The overall aesthetic of this shoe is great, it's simplicity portrays an image of a relaxation, intelligence & adventure, like myself. I'd recommend getting a whole size smaller because they stretch quite a bit.

I found these at a store and was impressed with the construction. The shoe is true to size, easy to get on and off, and fits great. I am not sure what to make of the other reviews that say the shoe is too big. I frankly love the extra room in the front (which is not excessive). The sole is also amazing and soft when walking, you cannot even hear any clacking or noise. The only problem is that the laces are a bit flimsy, but this can be solved by getting a small version of your favorite brown ones.

It took one of my friends talking me into giving these a try and I've been happy with them. The beeswax leather is a great, classic color. They're surprisingly comfortable with a quick break-in period. The sole is super soft and comfortable to walk in, though there isn't the greatest arch support. They also seemed to run a bit on the large side. Normally I wear a men's 10 and I ended up with an 8.5.
