These shoes are great if you want to be silently light on your feet. I think these would of been great for the Native Americans back in the day.

Very uncomfortable, do not plan on wearing these shoes for a long time. I am very tolerant when it comes to discomfort but this shoe truly is uncomfortable.

Very comfortable shoe! I use to wear Clark's Desert Boots back in the 1960's and 70's when I was a student attending school. I have always found the Clarks desert boot to be very comfortable. They never seem to go out of style and can be worn in just about any casual atmosphere. Just be careful when ordering your size! Since these shoes are from England, they are cut bigger! My normal USA size is 13M. I'm one size smaller in the Clark's desert boot so be careful when selecting your size. Other than that, these shoes are excellent!

These boots look great for starters. Being concerned about the size I read up on them and ordered a size 13. In dress shoes I wear a 13EEE, 14 in sneakers and these were a bit snug at first. Gladly, the leather stretches and after 2 weeks they are roomy and comfortable. The width is just right and the length is also about right. A bit of treatment on the leather and they are about as water resistant as one can expect. The crepe sole is soft and comfortable. Don't expect the sole to remain white for long. They are soon discolored and change to a tan color. The desert boot offers little to no arch support other than the leather foot bed the interior is flat. If you have high arches, I would recommend adding an insole which is what I have done and they are even better as a result. When they were ordered Zappos had them delivered within 24 hours. After buying one style of desert boot it seems there will be more to follow.

Great shoe. Took a few days for the minor irritation on the achillies tendon to go away, but after that, it was very comfortable.

This shoe is a classic and to top it it off it is very versatile. One thing to note is that with wear overtime the leather is broken in and the shoe feels slightly bigger. Therefore I recommend getting it a half size smaller.
