I wore this sandal for the first time today and got many compliments. The color is cute (fuchsia), and the footbed padding makes them very comfortable. When I first tried them on, I was afraid that the straps would rub blisters on my feet, but they didn't at all. Like the previous reviewer, I think that they are a little big. Unlike the previous reviewer, I was looking for shoes not made from the skin of an animal and am thrilled that Clarks has decided to make artisan shoes of faux leather. I am off to buy another pair.

I regularly purchase shoes from Zappos, with huge success. While processing a return today, I noticed these shoes and am excited to try them, based on the reviews and that they are NOT made from animal hide.

I am a bit disheartened that these are synthetic uppers, especially for the price. I should have looked before buying but all other Clarks shoes that I have ordered and looked at have had leather uppers. They are cute but do look like the upper is made out of a man made material. Also, since your foot goes to the very back of the sole, the shoes were a big large. I would need to size down by a half size to get a good fit. They have a very squishy footbed and are very comfortable but probably will not keep them due to the fact that they are synthetic but cost the same as comparable leather sandals.
