Great shoe - I fell in love with these shoes the minute they dropped. A bit spendy, but you get your value! They were pretty snug the first couple days so they have to be broken in pretty well, but I can wear these shoes all day long. Most stylish, comfortable daily I have ever owned.

Straight Dope. Couldn't be more satisfied with these kicks. I am definitely buying another pair of Clae's in the future. And I'm definitely happy that the size 10 and 11 were sold out because the 11.5 shoes fit my feet perfectly! I was surprised that they weren't too big at all.

Can't go wrong with this pick - Simply put, these shoes are like a great wine. They come too fresh right out the box, yet somehow once they have been broken in the comfort seems to become superb, molding to the contours of your foot. Classic look using the most subtle of details and the best of materials, Clae has really outdone their selves this time.

Clae Russel - I purchased these shoes after seeing a write up of the company on a fashion blog. I am very pleased with the look and feel of these shoes and I plan on ordering more Claes in the future. I have worn them a few times and they are just starting to break in. If you have a wide foot, you might need to order a 1/2 size bigger because they are a bit narrow.

I usually just wear Nike shoes and I wanted to try something new. Usually I don't wear mid or high tops either. I just got these Clae Russell shoes the other day in Charcol Wool and they are amazing. The inside is so extremely soft, smooth, and comfortable. Not to mention they look pimp! All of the other reviews that claim you should order a half size larger is true. In Nike sneakers I wear a size 9.5 and all other shoes I wear a size 10. Only a size 10.5 was in stock so I tried it and they fit great. My ankle feels snug and in place, but the overall comfort level is perfect. If you push in the front of the shoe my toes do come up a little short. I might have been going over a half size so I'd still recommend ordering big. I love these sneakers and I'll be ordering more as soon as I got the money! Also, Zappos shipping is so quick! Enjoy!

They are a bit pricey, but well worth it as you do get what you are paying for with Clae, which is a high quality shoe. They fit a little tight at first, but once they break in you will love them. I am normally an 8 1/2 so I went with a 9 as I had heard that they run a little tight. Zappos service was also amazing, I will definitely be buying more products through Zappos as well as picking up some more Clae's.

I bought the Charcoal-Wool in the Russell and the black in the Parker for my husband and he absolutely loves them. Definitely purchase at least a half size up when buying these shoes because they are narrow. In my case, I got a whole size up from a size 10 that my husband usually wears to a size 11 which turn out to be a comfortable fit. Thanks again to Zappos for unbelievable service and excellent customer care, two thumbs up guys!!!

I bought these shoes for my fiance and he really liked them. He wears a 9 in Nikes, but I got him a 9.5 in these. They fit him well and overall he liked them. No one really has these shoes where we are from so that's always a plus.

The build quality of this shoe is impeccable, and the styling is really classic. I can tell these shoes will last forever. I do have a larger foot (size 12) and I notice that this shoe is irregularly narrow which causes some discomfort to my outer toes. I wouldn't recommend this shoe for long walks. I can barely keep them on a full day. I'm hoping eventually they will loosen up a bit.

This is the 2nd pair of Russell\'s I have purchased and I really do enjoy these shoes. They are not for everyone as the foot pocket is a little smaller then the size indicated, so always size up. I however am a 13 in most shoes and because of the narrowness of my feet can avoid having to size up in Claes.

The shoes are absolutely gorgeous and very stylish. They fit the exact form of your foot. So it might feel small but it's just because it fits your foot like a glove.
